Review Of Shaantam Resorts & Spa

I recently stayed at Shaatam Resorts for New Year’s, and honestly, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. To start with, we checked in on December 31st, only to find out that there was a massive personal party happening, for which they were charging guests an exorbitant amount of 2,500 per person. We were assured that the party would wrap up by 1 AM, but it continued on until 3 AM! Despite our repeated complaints, the staff merely stated they had "requested the owner" to shut it down, but that did nothing to alleviate the noise or our frustration. If we wouldn't have raised complaints they were not considering to get it stop themselves. On top of that, the resort had no cellular signal, which made communication impossible. We were counting on their Wi-Fi, only to learn it was completely non-functional. They claimed it was due to wires being interrupted by a drunk guest, but the truth is much more alarming: it was clearly stated during sign in to wifi that the Wi-Fi was down due to overdue payments. This is simply unacceptable for a resort that charges such high rates! The combination of the loud party and the lack of Wi-Fi left us feeling completely isolated and unable to relax during what was supposed to be a joyful celebration. I was traveling with my elderly parents, and it was exasperating—none of us could get any sleep until around 4 AM. What makes the situation even worse is that the management didn’t offer any form of compensation or even a genuine apology for the distress caused. They should have never taken bookings for guests during the time of such a large party, especially when they couldn't manage the situation. Overall, my experience at Shaatam Resorts was nothing short of pathetic. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Save your money and look elsewhere!

This is a god forsaken place. Nothing works. At the restaurant which is all vegetarian you will not find most of the dishes as they are under stuffed. The intercom doesn't work. We were basically stranded and stuck. It's an under kept and not cared for property where you will pay but not get anything back of value. Stay away from the property. We had a booking for 3 days but we booked Lemon tree premier and stayed here for only one night loosing money. If you want to drown your money you are most welcome here.

The hospitality of this resort, the treatment from the staff, the facilities in the room, all are very good. Location is a bit far from rishikesh and it can be scary to drive to/from rishikesh to the resort

I and my husband visited this property to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The moment i told this to their front desk executive, neha, she got really excited. They had decorated our room without even asking, and the evening arrangement for candlelight dinner was amazing. She even got a cake for us. All of these arrangements were complimentary. Hospitality was top notch. Talking about the food, it was beyond amazing. Breakfast spread was so classy and delicious. I give this resort 10/10 for food, hospitality as well as ambiance. I recommend it to everyone looking for solace away from city life.

It is a beautiful property but staff needs to be more professional and property needs to manage their bookings properly. There were no towels in the room, linen was dirty in one of the rooms. The extra bed had strage liquid seeping out of it!

One of the best place I stayed at , amazing property with the best people loved my stay and do did my family ❤️I am visit again for sure and will definitely suggest this to other people

Stayed in this resort for 2 days n thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property is located approx 45 mins from laxman jhula on neelkanth highway. Food served was excellent and speed of room service was amazing. Some issues were there with toilet but the same was addressed promptly. Overall great place to stay.

Location is very good, beautiful view, service is average, needs improvement.

Location is nice..away from the din n bustle of the main city. Extremely courteous staff ready to help at all time. The aesthetics is very nice in terms of classy yet ethnic decor. Food is quite tasty with a decent variety. Wifi is not at all upto mark and needs significant improvement given cellular signals except Jio are quite weak.

The place has one of the best views and the staff is very kind and helpful. I stayed for 2 days and it was a pleasant stay with delicious food, b'ful views and outstanding service. Will visit again

Location, is good but if one plans for some activities like rafting, etc. Then location will bit disappoint as at least 1 hr one way travel required. Food, less variety. Seems repeated items. However taste is comparatively good.
