It's a family run stay. They have a large lawn you can soak up some sun in the cold winters. Food is pretty basic but you can order online washrooms were okay. The place is beautiful though

Peaceful place, excellent location, helpful staff, fast service. Good food quality, neat and clean place. I spend one day with my parents and it was fine and comfortable staying. I strongly recommend to budget travelers to come and stay here. Thank you very much.

It was awesome staying in this guest house. There were many foreigners staying over there and the hospitality was awesome. And the food was quite hygienic and tasty. The garden in the hotel is also quite awesome. Even the every facilities in the hotel are available.

Sahar palace is a great place to stay in. Serene and peaceful atmosphere, clean rooms and warm hospitality. The food prices were a bit high but that's understandable. Would highly recommend anyone to this place.

Hotel in a good location and a really nice atmosphere. The rooms and furniture are a bit old but clean, you pay for the garden area which is great and needful if you want to escape from the chaos. Breakfast included is poor and more costly than if you order breakfast there. Still a bit overpriced.

A pleasant stay in the winters of jaipur

It's a heritage building and well maintained in that way. It's close to the Jaipur railway station( jp) and a short distance to airport as well. Food options are available but limited. Mr. Singh offered transport options for local sight seeing( but we managed by our own). Mrandmrs. Singh are very welcoming and caring. Overall the stay was pleasant at Sahara palace
The location of this hotel is very convenient to go to old city, Railway Station, Airport.

Rooms were nice, it's nice guest house to stay. Very homely experience. If you go with it kid they love it my son loves to play in open environment he don't want to in close hotel room so he enjoy it location is good.

The hospitality we were endowed on a trip to Jaipur made me to write this review. So me and my family of 3 had been to Jaipur and booked well in advance the hotel. As we reached we were graciously welcomed by the hotel staffs and were also given a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The hospitality is the USP of this place and it is also very much near to the railway station. The family that runs this place was sweet to have invited to their home cooked Rajasthani lunch which was brilliant. Value for money stay in Jaipur is the best in Shahar Palace Guest House.

The stay was good; surrounding anf neighbourhood was excellent.

Pleasant and clam environment. The homely food was really good. The owner and staff were good. We had hot water geyser issue but it took more than a day to resolve but they helped next day by opening another room to use for bathing.

A very personal and friendly run Guest House. Service and food were excellent and the room was very good for the one night we stayed. The garden and the location felt more then living in a private house than in a hotel. We could fore sure stay here again.

The moment my cab drove through the gates of Shahar Palace I knew I was going to love this place! The hotel is on a quiet road and is set back from the street. It is surrounded by walls and lovely tropical plants. It has a nice garden with tables where you can enjoy your morning meditation or have some tea. The family that owns it are descendants of a Rajput baron, who built this home as lodging for his clan when they came to Jaipur for meetings. One of the things I loved most about this place is the lovely balcony with its table and chairs. From that spot I could look out over the garden and watch the families cute beagle puppy, that never seemed to run out of energy. I will return to this place and will spend at least a month the next time. It was so nice here I did not want to leave.

Shahar Palace is a very good stay for the cost. It is a bit far from the sights of Jaipur, but that is what makes it great - it's tucked into a quiet neighborhood, hosted by a helpful family, and surrounded by lush gardens. The owners are happy to call an auto to take you to the main attractions for a much better rate than most tourists could find on the streets, and they are also willing to arrange tours and give solicited advice when needed. Everything about staying in Shahar Palace was about the guests' needs and convenience. I loved hearing the birds around me as I sat on the balcony, and I appreciated the fact that I didn't feel suffocated by the exhaust and hawkers you find in the main city. Highly recommend!

Ambience was excellent with birds, dogs, fish, etc. Room fittings and amenities were just average. Bathroom was average too. The location was okay. Room amenities have to be improved.
