Review Of Shangraff - Entire 3 BHK Villa Near Dal Lake

Great location, owner has created the property with passion. However, the care taker and the staff has all ruined the experience. The local care taker requested to accommodate her personal guests, the staff was always late for providing breakfast and didn’t clean rooms for the entire stay duration. The security was clueless of our check in. The property is loosing its charm due to decay and lack of maintenance. Bugs are everywhere and the garden is not maintained well. Honestly, owner needs to look into his setup to save this great property from falling down.

The place overall is nice even though reaching there can be a little daunting! the ground floor part is very nice but i would not say the same about the first floor and the two bedrooms there. One of the bedrooms and a separate bathroom are very dismal and lack the basic amenities. At best i would call it a two bedroom affair! the drawing room, kitchen and dining area are rather nice and adequately furnished and provided for. I would think that even though it is a home stay where guests are required to fend for themselves for food etc, yet it would have been nice for basic kitchen provisions to be provided for in the upmarket price being charged especially in the wake of no provision store or vegetable store in the near vicinity. The housekeeping staff is nice and helpful and if they were armed with small added nuances and trained to demonstrate small gestures, it could have added so much flavour to make the stay a memorable one with a wow factor. Which was lacking in the absence of heart being where it should have been! i hope someone will think about it from the heart!
