    Doesn't worth the money

    There are both positive and negative to be mentioned about this hotel. Here is the complete review based on a single day stay experience at sri mahalakshmi deluxe lodge arakkonam on a double deluxe room booked. Pros- 1. Room size was good enough for a couple to stay. 2. Air condition was good and brought the room to a cool temperature in a few minutes. 3. Receptionist was so polite, respectful and very attentive to address all queries and needs. 4. Reception staff understood the purpose of the visit and agreed with the check-in and check-out. 5. Water heater was found good in the bathroom. 6. Tv works fine with good picture and sound quality. Cons- 1. Firstly, the allotted room didn't look clean. But the good part is we requested a change of room and we were provided another room. Unfortunately, the other room also found dirty but definitely better than the room initially allotted. 2. No chairs provided in the room. 3. Sirty strains were found on the bedspreads. 4. Towels, toothbrush, paste, soap, shampoo weren't provided. 5. There are no complementary water bottles provided, no plates for serving food, no glasses to have tea or water in the room. 6. There was a small cupboard found in the room which was found full of dust inside and so we kept all the stuff that we carried on the floor. 7. We booked this with free breakfast but there is no restaurant facility in the hotel. But somehow, hotel staff arranged for a free breakfast of our choice from a nearby hotel. Note- we ordered two sets of idli and vada and we received it in 15 minutes(should be probably from a nearby fast foods shop) idli and vada were rolled up in a paper cover. 8. Bathroom doors were not clean. The towel hanger in the bathroom found rusted. 9. Door locks were found very tight to lock and unlock every time. 10. Floor mat is available only for bathroom use.

    This is one of the most terrible experience that i ever had in my life. Room - booked a double room, got a single room room was dirty and the cleaners brought us to the room carrying harpic and domex and just clean t the toilet. We couldnt enter the toilet - too terrible and we havent took bath and toiler for two days. Ac was not working.

    Not a good lodge for family stay

    Early check in is subjected to avaibility. Had a bad experience in waking up the front desk or security guard staff when i checked in early morning at around 4 am. Even they were not picking the calls to open the gate. The so called property care taker was not at all responding to calls either. Surrounding atmosphere is also not good at this lodge

    One of the worst room.

    First of all when we gone for check-in, they denied to give room even though we showed your booking order as they haven't received any booking order from you. After long discussion they gave one worst room. In that ac was not all working, room and cot was like a match box size, from bathroom very bad odour came so we could not have proper sleep through out night. This lodge is not at all suitable for stay. No facilities like food etc was nearby to this. Our money paid for this is totally waste, even for rs 500- also not worth. Consider for avoiding any booking in future and take-out from list. That's i can review now.
