Tent stays in wet conditions is not a great idea bcos of compramised comforts. Wet washrooms adds to the discomfort.

Good Stay

We spent 2 nights 3 days in Starling River resort. Over all it was a good stay and was well within the budget!! Highlights: Behaviour, kindness and patience of front desk. A big shout out to Prateek, Meenakshi , Rajveer and Devaraj. Restaurant : while the breakfast was normal but the A-la-carte for dinner was very well prepared. Special mention to Franklin and Pinto who took into consideration of our special food requests with tweaks suitable for our palate. Activities : The resorts best activity was speed boat. Shekhar knows the job too well and ensured every time we went for a ride he made it fun and thrilling. Beware: If you want to stay here or another place near the forest it’s better to carry SIM card of BSNL or JIO. No network coverage of any other carriers and the resort does not have WiFi.

Decent resort

Resort is decent and family friendly. The rooms are big and staff is friendly and courteous. Ample and secure parking available. The resort is on the river edge so very scenic. The food is ok, though quite expensive with buffer charges of Rs 500 per person. The Alacarte options are limited. There are various activities in the resort but one has to pay Rs 100 per person for each activity. There is a playarea for kids and also a swimming pool which can be used for free. There is no Airtel network in the rooms, There is a airtel booster added but only avaliable in the lobby. Only jio network is available throughout the resort. The approach road is through a farm and is quite narrow and can accommodate one car at a time and also in bad shape. Guests coming to the resort create a lot of noise every where. Management do not do anything for this. There was a group who played loud music in the lobby around 10pm in the night and management dint do anything and I myself had to request them to lower the volume.

Charged 4-star prices but the stay was not even 0-star. Broken taps, balcony door, fungus on bed and chairs, snails and earthworms in the bathroom, and even so many street dog inside the premises. First day food was pathetic with expired Fanta, second day just average. Overall, very poor experience and not worth the money.

The service was more terrible than the road to reach that place. There is no WiFi available there, only Jio network available and the staff is also not so cooperative

It was really good stay and staff was really humble and empathetic to cater things really helpful staff only concern i had was linens used in the room where not clean n there was bit of power issues, apart from these it was really good stay. No matter how the resort stay would feel seamless when you have good staff.

Location is good but it is a old resort with low maintence, room are not well maintained spider nest was i room intercom is ot working properly, tv fecility is only to ah-ow no channel was able to view no proper, connection poor performence resort.

It is hardly 8 km from Dandeli. The resort is good and it is just besides the Kali river. We stayed in a Safari tent was average. The problem which I have faced was electricity was dripping again and again. I feel it is over expensive, compare to the SERVICES, which they are offering. They have charged ₹500 for the Lunch, which was too much expensive. There is no Wi-Fi in the resort, but still you can get Jio network on your mobile.
