We got the warmest welcome and experience at this stay. It was super cozy and comfortable, felt like home. The staff made everything so easy for us, even with guidance regarding our trip there, the owner came to greet us and made sure our stay there was as comfortable as possible.

my stay at himalayan retreat by stay vista was excellent. the accommodations were cozy and beautifully decorated, blending traditional himalayan charm with modern comforts. my room had a private balcony where i could sip my morning tea while soaking in the stunning landscape—a perfect way to start each day. the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to offer recommendations for local attractions or assist with any needs. the on-site dining experience was a highlight, featuring delicious local cuisine that truly showcased the flavors of the region. each meal was a delightful adventure for the taste buds! the location of the retreat is ideal for exploring manali. whether you're looking for thrilling outdoor activities or peaceful nature walks, everything is just a stone's throw away. after a day of adventure, it was wonderful to return to such a serene and tranquil setting. overall, my stay at himalayan retreat was nothing short of magical. if you're looking for a perfect getaway that combines relaxation with adventure, this is the place to be. i can’t wait to return!

Dimple and mantu, the caretakers at the stay, are top notch people. Had a great time at our weekend stay here. The home cooked smile food was quite scrumptious

My stay at the Himalayan retreat was very good. It is a home away from home. The staff mantu was very courteous and helpful. The property is very well maintained. It’s clean, location is perfect 👍 thoroughly enjoyed 😄

Lovely stay during the winter of 2019. Stayed for two nights in middle of December. Location: Only 2.5 kms from the govt. bus stand on the mall road. The hotel is in the gated premise of A. B. Vajpayee Mountaineering Institute. There are very few properties around and the place is exceptionally beautiful. Room: Stayed in the studio apartment. A proper studio apartment with almost all equipments to use. Very, very spacious. The balcony is also very good. Food: Delicious. Cannot say anything more about it. Staying in December: We stayed in mid December. When it had just snowed a night before. It was extremely cold. If you are staying at this hotel or pretty much any hotel in Manali in December then please consider the below points. These points are specific to this hotel and could very well be applicable to others as well. The room gets extremely, extremely cold. Deathly cold. Everything in the room also gets cold. Right from the floor, tables, chairs, utensils, bedsheets, pillows, curtains etc. literally everything gets cold. Heaters are available on rent. That seems to be the standard across most hotels in the region. You'll have to rent a heater on a per day basis. Most heaters are electric, standing, single/double rod heaters. They are of no good. It will never, literally never warm the entire room. It can only warm a little 2 ft. space. So if you are travelling in December to Manali, Shimla etc. carry your own portable heater if possible. The geyser worked perfectly. So we had hot water in the wash basin and shower/tap all the time. I had a great stay here despite the cold and everything. I will definitely visit in summers once. Big thank you to Sahil who looked after us and everything.

The cottage has been constructed at a beautiful location in a beautiful swiss style. Rooms are well lit and spacious. Every room has a balcony and one can see dense deodar forest straight from the room. The staff was also very helpful. I stayed there with my family. I would recommend this place as it's away from the city noise and yet very close to the main town.

I have stayed for three days at retreat cottages. It is amazing place to stay. Cottages are good and like home to us. All services related to food and room services were good. Mr Sharma has helped us to get the cab for Rohtang visit. Sahil- service boy has taken care of rest of the things. We have enjoyed our stay over there. It is one of the best place to stay at Manali.

I stayed in Retreat Cottages in april 2019 and the stay was simply amazing. I wanted to get out from Delhi busy crowd and find solace on Hills. I wanted to stay in a fully equipped hotel/cottage which is not very far from the City center yet is very peaceful and has hill view. Overall my rating of this place will be 5+ and probably I will say its the best stay in Manali. I will highly recommend the place to my friends and family and will definitely stay in this place every time I visit Manali either alone or with friends/family. This was my 5th or 6th Manali trip and I found Retreat Cottages after a detailed research of Manali hotels and resorts. Retreat Cottages exceeded all expectations. Hospitality Sunil Ji at the Cottages made sure that my stay is comfortable in every manner. Even before reaching the place he was kind to follow up on my arrival time, made sure to take any special instructions and sent a car to pick me up at the bus Station. Driver sent was polite and with good driving style. I requested lunch after reaching the place and found that food quality was amazing. Taxi can be arranged on request to drop you at bus stop/Airport or sight seeing without any hassle. About the property The bungalow/cottage is well situated only 2 km from mall Road in a peaceful setting and one can take auto or simply walk for 15 minutes and reach the City center. Every cottage is an independent entity with its own living room (with fire place), dining section, well equipped kitchen, a nice garden and bed rooms (with fire place). Garden also has provision for BBQ and may be arranged on request. All the rooms are hill/mountain facing overlooking very beautiful, scenic landscape. I spent most of my time in the garden Reading books and sketch ing. The place is also smoke friendly. It was an amazing experience. In my opinion the property is as comfortable and cozy as one can think of with no one to disturb you at the same time with very attentive staff in mid of an amazing landscape. All the very best to Sunil Ji and the staff and hope to visit the cottage soon in monsoon time.

We originally planned to stay at Retreat Cottages for 2 days, but we enjoyed so much that we extended our stay for another day. Room is good, views are great. It is away from the mall Road hustle bustle but still accessible and lots of general stores Around to buy essentials. Mr Sunil, the property manager was extremely helpful and ensured all our needs were taken care of. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to all.

Awesome place, very friendly and helpful staff, neat and clean rooms, beautiful view 24 hour water supply.
The cottages were very good, the staff was very helpful and friendly, original we booked a 2 bhk room but there was a little problem with heating system there, so instead of making us wait for repairs they shifted us to a 3 bhk cottage which was extremely beautiful, all the rooms were very neat and clean, every cottage has a very beautiful lawn, but one thing you must keep in mind is that even though there are burners in every room and lobby, you have to pay money for fuel as each burner costs more, rest all is value for money.
