Review Of Sumitel Hotel 500 meters from Mall Road

The service found OK, there is no place for car parking but the hotel staff came for the luggage.Food quality is good

Stay at Sumitel Darjeeling was good. All staff members were very good and cordial. But the manager was vert reluctant . We have booked a family suit. As there were some issues, we requested him to allot two separate rooms. He was very rigid and said they have nothing to do with as we have booked through MMT. As a result we booked another room @Rs3000/- per night.

It is a good hotel with a spacious room and clean bathroom. An added bonus is kanchanjunga view from your room with certain rooms. The restaurant was decent (given we tasted very few from the menu). The hotel staff were very polite and helpful.

Everything was good. the staff were very polite, and the room had the best view. Overall, I loved it, would definitely visit again ^^

we had a very bad experience with this hotel. I stayed in this hotel with my family including my 1.7 years old daughter. Their room key was not working. My baby’s food was locked in one of the room. And it was close to 9:30 to 10 pm.entire hotel was empty no reception no gaurd not a single employee. Their emergency mobile phone was lying on reception. We were so panic.after 1 and half hour the gaurd came that too we found him out of the mall. We asked him to call his manager. Then manager came and i have told him about the incident. He said entire hotel staff is on leave.We have asked him to complain about this hotel as how come entire hotel staff is on leave. If anything happens who is there to take care of. We have also asked for refund for our stay. To this said they can refund N we have sent this on email. Hotel has replied that they will look into this. Now is not responding to my phone call and not responding to emails

had visited the same hotel a year back ,got better rooms back then as compared to prvs ones .Received a room with nonfunctional door sensors not fixed even after complaining.over all not happy this time..

The location is good . The view is superb ,if u have a valley view room . Food is far below expectation. Power problem keeps happening consistently. They have better properties and I had booked in one of them , but at the last moment they said some technical problem and shifted me here Over all , I feel I got far below for what is asked for and paid. The front office people are very pleasant , specially the girl names Nikita. The staff is good.

It is far away from mall road. Hotel lift was out of service for whole day. Premium rooms are not at all premium. Food is average in taste but price is too high than standard. I would not recommend to stay here.

The room assigned first was different from the one I had booked. Had to then request multiple times to get it changed. Otherwise the staff and service were good

service was very bad.. they didn't clean our room.. where as i told them for makeup my room but they didn't even they didn't refill water also..very bad experience 😕 but room quality and view both are good 👍🏽

The room was spacious and elegant, with a large window offering an exquisite view of the mountains. The staff members were also polite and cordial, making it a comfortable stay. Additionally, the food was scrumptious and reasonably priced. Overall, it was a wonderful luxurious experience for me and my family.
