Review Of Summit Barsana Resort & Spa

Stayed two nights at Summit Barsana on a family trip. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Everything was great. Barsana exceeded expectations. Will recommend to friends. Will choose Barsana again.

1 star just for the place... Rest all is pathetic... Foods are highly overpriced that too of very pathetic taste and quality... For example, I don't know on which ground two gulapjamuns cost 199 rupees, we got two cups of coffee with a veg sandwich had cost us 700 above and I repeat that too of very low grade taste and quality... In case of hospitality, inspite of two day bookings, our toiletries were not refilled, normal etiquettes at the restaurant staffs also must be improved... Inshort, even if you charge higher to maintain the luxury then serve it also in all aspects... Only the staffs' , behaviour was not bad... But I think the issues are there in ownership and management...

The people at Summit Barsana are extremely welcoming, humble, warm and helpful. they always try to better themselves and are always responsive to their customers. special mention to Preety who had helped us to stay in a grand and exciting manner.

The property is absolutely excellent, with a team that is warm, welcoming, and attentive to every need. The toiletries provided were among the best I’ve experienced at any hotel or resort, and the food was really enjoyable. A special mention goes to the team member who sang and provided live music during dinner—it made the evenings truly memorable. The only small drawback is that the resort is a little distance from the city centre and market, but this didn’t take away from the overall experience. I travelled with my parents, and when my mother faced some health issues, the staff went above and beyond to care for her and ensure she was comfortable. It was an absolutely amazing stay, and I’d highly recommend Summit Barsana for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

It was a nice experience. I'd highly recommended Summit group of hotels for their cordial behaviour, personal touch and of course the amenities. This was our fourth time in a Summit hotel . Looking forward to make it five.

An awesome place to stay with family and friends..Location is breathtaking..Good food. Spacious rooms.....Courteous staff..

We booked three rooms and had an enjoyable two night stay with family and two children aged 2 and 6. The rooms were large with a verandah and kept very clean . But the absence of an AC was felt as the weather was particularly hot and the ceiling fan was not adequate. The GM Mr Nigyel was very attentive and responsive and he informed that they are already on n tne process of installing a central cooling system in all rooms. The property is well located with an excellent view of the valley and the mountains and the lawns and the play area kept our two young children fully occupied. The Indian food was very tasty. I would definitely recommend the place especially for families.

The entire stay reflected the huge difference between the tariff and quality. Right from the loose mortise lock to loose tower bolts to loose toilet seat cover to loose balcony sliding door, nothing was upto the mark. Breakfast was terrible with no live counters for veg items. And about the "Resort".......I dont know why its called a Resort!!

The facilities that were provided by the hotel was worth every peny. The staff was polite and helpful. would love to visit again and would recommend friends and family to stay at Summit barsana.

rooms are not maintained... cockroach inside the room, have a picture as well for the same........

I have booked a premium mountain view room with balcony for a 3 Nights stay with breakfast & Dinner included. It was great experience in all the fronts except one thing and that is the absence of any Air-condition in the rooms even at this scorching summer heat. Hotel authorities should seriously look into this as even Kalimpong gets really hot during summer. Food and hospitality is top class as is expected from Summit Group.

Stay experience was average as rooms were not air-conditioned and only fans were available in the summer.

the resort is situated in a good location and is very well maintained. the food is also quite good.

Location of the Resort is excellent.Property was full of facilities & amenities.Staff were highly co operative and well behaved. Food was absolutely amazing.Everyday some unique changes in menue.The Chef and attendants at the food restaurent were giving personal attention to every visitor. if I visit Kalingpong I would definitely prefer to stay as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in March 2025.
