Review Of Summit Bougainvillea Tea Resort Kurseong

The room was in terrible state with patches and pen pencil marks all over the walls. The floor was chipped, balcony chipped, old worn out furnitures, not maintained at all. We were even denied tea at 6.30pm when we wanted to place order stating dinner time is going to start.

Location just beside the NH55 highway, constant honking of cars and cars passing by till late hours - not a very peaceful stay. We booked two royal suites, those atf average with damps on walls, nothing special - balcony looks over the local huts.Food is also average. Both accomodation and food charges are overpriced, overhyped. Only exception is gej staff , namely Divya , Ptshogen, Amrita , all are very polite and decent.

excellent location far from the madding crowd. excellent premier spacious suite rooms with mindblowing view. staff is very curteous mahima and asmi were very supportive and went out of the way to make our stay memorable.

It was not worthy for staying in summit kurseong because i had payed aproxx 12k for a night and there was no fridge, no wardrobe no any extra amenities and there was not and proper power backup system shortage of electricity it was a nightmare honestly writing will never visit in that resort again 🙏🏼

Small shabby rooms..Lacks cleanliness..foul smell...Food was good though.

It was quite good to be here. Ambience ,hotel room and hospitality is quite nice.

The stay was awesome. I really enjoyed my stay there. All kinds of service were 10/10. The mountain view was mesmerizing.

This resort size is too small, room size is also small, room charges high. The swimming pool size is also too small. Service is slow. Around resorts there is nothing. Thanks

The hotel is located around 7.3 km away from Kurseong station on the side of NH 110 at Gayabari, more precisely at Kalimati. The hotel is well connected by roads, beautiful positioned, well designed, aesthetically decorated, having peaceful and quite surroundings, offering picturesque view of mountains. The hotel have a small swimming pool, a excellent resturent. Restaurant have both open and closed sitting option. One can enjoy the delicious food served by the hotel sitting on open terrace relishing the breathtaking views of the mountain. Rooms are named after teagardens.The resort has 24 hrs power backup, excellent housekeeping manager and staff who keep the resort clean and spotless. The behavior of all the staff is excellent, always ready to provide service, courteous, well mannered, well behaved.

It was late evening when we landed at Bagdogra, hence decided to spend the night in Karsyong. The stay was good, as the room was quite luxurious, the behaviour of the staff was very courteous and the food was just excellent.

Very bad experience. No person bothers to switch on power back up at night for 1 hour almost. One has to go down and ask at 2.30 am to switch it one. allowed in the hotel who dances shouts till 3 am in the morning and there isn’t a single staff at night to complain. In case of emergency at night there is no person whom you can contact. Please avoid this property as it is highly unsafe at night in case of need. Rooms need renovation, food below average and absolutely non existent service

Location of the property is excellent. On the edge of mountain, just beside the toy train line. Solitude and mountain greenery. Food was good, delicious. Only point against is the lack of variation in items. We stayed at premium suite. Room amenities were average….with scope of upgradation. Service was excellent. All staff were very courteous, helpful and sincere. Operational manager and Mr Ritesh Tamang at front desk should be mentioned specifically.

The stay at summit kurseong was pleasant. The hotel gave us an upgrade on request. The whole aura of the reception and place was very inviting. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I would love to come back here.

First of all except the cafe zone nothing was similar to the images provided by them. Rooms were exceptionally small ( They don't even have a wardrobe in it, no space was there for keeping luggage). Washroom was completely dark unless one turns on the light and we faced frequent power outages while using washroom which was a significant problem. But extremely statisfied with behavior of all restaurant staff and other staff (except reception). Food quality and taste was good.

It was a disappointing experience in Summit Bougainvillea tea resort. The room which was provided( Garidhura) in the name of Deluxe room is a very small room with an window which opens into a tarnished mossy wall. Obviously you cannot open the window resulting in claustrophobic and suffocating sensations. There was no cupboard in the room. The wall was damp with glass door of the dry toilet is impossible to slide. The room doesn’t have a door bell. I don’t know whether this is the definition of a deluxe room. If you order dinner for a room service you’re sure to get it not before one and half hours. To compensate for the delay they provided a half burnt tandoori roti. Only good thing about the resort is its location. The hotel is surrounded by mountains adorned with tea gardens. Though this view is only available from the roof top restaurant. And also the staff members are very polite.
