Good option for a Luxury stay at thr heart of the city

Checked in at 6 pm and the process was smooth. We booked one Suprior Room with Twin Bed. Let us now move to the review of facilities and my experience ( Rating have been assigned in a Scale of 1 to 5 , 5 being highest):- A. Location : Very conveniently located at the City Centre in Sector 17. Hotel arranges paid airport pick up on request. Rose Garden and Sec 17 Shopping area are barely 5 minutes walk. (Rating 5). B. Room : Room was of about 350 square feetsize , well furnished, with two queen sized bed, two seperate wardrobes, Flat screen TV , small sitting couch and a writing desk . Bed was rightly soft, comfy with linens . The room had tile flooring and clean and have all amenities that you expect in a 5 Star property viz. tea making facility, refrigerator, minibar, iron board, bathrobes, slippers, safe . Adequate bottles of water are provided and tea pouches replaced every day. Toilet was good in size and with a seperate shower enclosure . Toilet is fitted with sanitary fitings of good quality with hot and cold water. Toileteries like shampoo, body wash and body lotion were provided. Towels are of very good quality. Quality of toileteries are good. Room had good air conditioning. (Rating 4.75) C. Facilities : The hotel has all facilities that you expect in a 5 star business hotel. The lobby area is spacious with reception and bell desk area well marked. The hotel has business centre, laundry and ironing service, restaurants, patteserie, fully stocked bar, spa and wellness centre, swimming pool, mini golf, garden, cocierge service, tour service etc. Room service is available 24 hours. (Rating 5) D. Dining options: The hotel has three restaurants. Cafe 27 , Dera serves Indian Cuisine and Black Lotus for Oriental Cuisine. We had our breakfast and dinner at Cafe 27. Food quality is very good and buffet spread was elaborate (Rating 4.75). E. Overall service : The hotel has very well behaved team of staff at the reception and also at its housekeeping. All requests are met immediately with a smile.(Rating 4.75). F. Suggested improvements: The property, interior, toilet fittings look slightly dated and the hotel is due for some upliftments. Good option for business travellers or for luxury stay with family. (OVERALL RATING 4.75)

That was splendid hospitality at taj. Truly emulating the legacy of ratan tata. We decided to stay there to pay homage to him. Excellent food. Well trained and extremely polite staff. I enjoyed the room meant for specially abled person. A memorable time spent at the property.

Chandigarh is very well known place for me and sector-17 is heart of the city. Hence location of property is excellent. Food and restaurant services were also very good specially miss sushmita sen a restaurant staff was very kind enough to help us in everything. We would like to visit again the hotel just because of sushmita.

i had the pleasure of staying at taj chandigarh for a night to celebrate my wife's birthday, and i cannot praise the experience enough. from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special. i had requested some room decorations, and not only did they oblige, but they also surprised us by upgrading our room without any additional charges! the attention to detail, the beautiful décor, and the personalized service made it an unforgettable experience. the room itself was luxurious, offering stunning views and the comfort you expect from taj. the staff's warmth and hospitality truly set this hotel apart. if you're looking for a stay where every need is anticipated and met with grace, taj chandigarh is the perfect choice. we left with cherished memories and will undoubtedly be returning for future celebrations.

The stay was very good, they even upgraded me to a nice room with nice views on two sides. Breakfast is v good too. Location wise it makes perfect sense with the rose garden 2-3 minutes walk, sector 17 market another 4-5 minutes walk etc. Taj never disappoints!
