Good place. Good rooms. Great food, even though the absence of Chettinad cuisine was a bit disappointing. But, the best part was the service. People at all level were very cordial. Hospitality at its best.

nice place.. cottage stay.. peaceful... food is not great.. pool is not cleaned or well maintained... other than that good ppl.. nice spacious rooms.. no issues.. 👍🏻.

My rating for the thappa gardens is not yet 5 because there are few little improvements to be done in terms of ala cart e menu food taste, little attentive room cleaning and the swimming pool bathroom cleanliness. Otherwise it's one of the best in karaikudi area in that budget range with good amenities and large rooms. Also some resort staff are very kind and resourceful. They also helped us arrange local taxi rental!

Karaikudi visit

As the temple town rameshwaram was jam packed and we could not get a proper hotel stay, we decided to take a break at karaikudi, just 125 kms before rameshwaram. That's how we got to know about thapa resorts. A good resort with all basic amenities. With good food and economical pricing. The options in breakfast could be better though. The service and cleanliness were good and left nothing to complain about. Overall good.
