"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a calm and comfortable experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient, with cabs readily available outside and the railway station nearby, which is a definite plus. This proximity makes it an ideal choice for travelers, especially those who prefer not to hassle with traffic or long commutes. The staff were extremely well-mannered and respectful towards customers, which added significantly to the pleasant stay. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to help made a big difference. The rooms were in good condition, impressively clean (scoring 9/10 in cleanliness), and the bathrooms were nice and well-maintained. However, I noticed that some amenities mentioned in the description were not available, such as a hair dryer and iron. Given the time constraint, I didn't request them, but it would have been appreciated if they were provided as promised. The breakfast menu could also be improved in terms of taste and variety. While the staff were attentive, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. Despite these minor shortcomings, the hotel's strengths lie in its friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. Poor Stay
I booked a deluxe room for one night from 18Sep to 19Sep. I was offered a room in the first floor which was the smoking floor for smoking guests without even checking with me if I would be comfortable in the smoking room. As I went inside the room it was all smell and I straight away said there is a terrible smell inside the room to which the staff told me it was the room freshener. I resisted that I cannot stay in this room to which after lot to resistance they offered me another room which had two single bed. I didn’t had any other option but to accept. I would not recommend this hotel because of the way they treated me. Also someone from the hotel called me a day before to check with me my arrival time to which i confirmed that I said i will be there at 12 noon and he confirmed that the room would be ready by then but they made me wait until 1 pm that also after lot of push they gave me the room key with smell all over.

Astor is Aristocratic
Awesome colonial experience. When you take the flight of stairs, the wooden planks sounds will give you goosebumps. Room was excellent Food was great. We loved the Gandharaj chilled lemon cheese cake.

Average Old Hotel but expensive
Location is average due to distance from Metro and availability of Cab - need extra 15 -2 0 minutes. If you compare Price and amenities - the price is 30% higher than the standard price. Food quality is OK- but very less options in the buffet breakfast. Staffs are ok but need improvement in their approach to deal with customers. No sense what they are talking in fornt of customers, a kind of indirect in politeness.

It was good. The breakfast could be better and while entering the hotel you won't know where is the reception so that could be improved with some signs.

heritage property and well organised
It's a beautiful place in the centre of Park Street. Stayed here for our us visa which is just behind the hotel walking distance only. The property is small as it is heritage without a lift but the stairs are comfortable.
