Review Of The Caves- KGF( Kardigudda Farms)

Location: good in terms of ambience and experience. Its little on the inside and google maps will not properly work there, so connecting with the hosts is always preferable before reaching. Hosts are super helpful and always available. Food: not good. Only homemade food is available which is also fixed so you don't have any options to choose from. There's no nearby restaurants so either you have the homemade food or have your dinner before coming to the place. Amentities: everything that you need is available. No complaints there. Services: caretakers there are very nice and helpful and always just a call away. Overall review: if you are coming as a group and have good enough time to relax then this stay is perfect. However if you happen to have just 2-3 days and want to travel to hampi from this place daily then its not ideal. You will need good 1. 5 hours from here to reach hampi and then same time back. You will be spending around 3 hours daily on road and since this is a remote property you will have to start very early from hampi. So this property is recommended for people who have ample amount of time to relax and explore.

Too far from main spot. Food is very low quality and costly. Not a good choice for stay if you are visiting hampi.

It's a cave in the woods, it met my expectations, it's one of its kind. Food was really awesome. Great hospitality. 35 kms from hampi, but still worth to stay if u are visiting hampi or any nearby area

We had stay in Cave 1 with family. Property is well maintained and service and food is great. The property is located remotely from Hampi South.

It was a peaceful and soulful weekend trip. The host made my stay very comfortable. The property is beautiful and the care takers are very helpful. Overall an amazing experience. Looking forward to visit again soon.. 😇

Nice place and different experience to stay in rooms made in small caves. Hospitality was also great. Mr. & mrs. Sharath, the owner, guided us start to end and also recommended nearby places to explore. Food was also good.

Excellent service and hospitality by hosts. The food is also very good (homemade food. The location is bit away from hampi(bit more than 1 hour) in an interior area but really a great experience if you want a simple and peaceful stay rooted to nature. If you live being close to nature you will really enjoy. The host really do their best to make the most of your stay based on your time and interests.

It is altogether different and adventurous experience to stay at this property. Kids were thrilled with this experience. Property is well maintained and mr. Hasan is very caring person. Property owner needs to update right route to reach the location. It took us long time to find out as were reached there late in evening. Property is at remote location and nearby people can’t speak other than kannada. It is difficult and bit scary till you reach.

The food is excellent, authentic taste. The property is a different experience, pure village vibes. The only things which need improvements are the bathrooms. We would definitely go back again for the experience.

We booked this property at the last minute on our drive from goa to hyderabad. The only reason we selected this place was because it is equidistant from both goa and hyderabad(a perfect place to rest) but more important reason was they allow pets on their property. But once landed there the place had so much to offer, that just an over night stay seemed incomplete. The place is perfect for spending time with nature. The caretakers are warm and always available for you. The place extremely well maintained, neat and clean. Our pet dog had ample of space to run around. The food is cooked in a traditional style chulha and has a unique taste to it. Most importantly the stay is in caves (rooms between the boulders, an experience you won't get anywhere else.

The property is great with its natural beauty and priceless views. The best thing about the property are it's hosts. Even though it's a little far from town, the hosts made sure we had the most comfortable stay. They went above and beyond to help us have a fun time and treated us almost like family. The best part was the dinners with the host's father who's an adorable uncle that sang songs with us and shared his wisdom. The food served is traditional north karnataka cuisine and was awesome.

The hosts are extremely hospitable and gracious. The property is a very unique experience that adds to the overall hampi itinerary.

The location was a little difficult to reach but the hospitality and food made up for everything. Also got the experience of living in a cave. Amazing sunrise view is an added benefit!
