It was a pleasant stay at Fratelli Guest House. The location is very convenient.The entire hotel is very neat and clean. It is extremely well decorated. Room was spacious too. Food quality was good and room service was nice as well.

The only positive of our 4-night stay was the helpful and polite junior staff. Unfortunately, this was completely ​Rude Manager: The manager, , is extremely rude, unwelcoming, and unaccommodating. ​Strict 10:30 PM : This is not a hotel for enjoying Shillong's nightlife. They to lock the gates, making it feel like a hostel. ​Poor Housekeeping: We returned one evening to find our rooms had not been cleaned at all, despite leaving our keys at the reception. ​Restrictive Breakfast: The "included breakfast" is a joke. You can only order one item per person from a fixed menu of 5 items. ​Basic Hospitality Lacking: They charged our driver for a basic cup of tea, a petty charge we paid at checkout. ​Other Issues: The rooms are small and congested, and the food is very average (use Swiggy instead). The good staff cannot make up for the rude management, unreliable service, and restrictive, hostel-like rules. Look elsewhere.

Location is difficult to reach , owner has lot of attitude and really finicky on providing a small thing like hand soap even when their staff conveniently forgot to keep one in the room, doesn’t have any sense of how hospitality industry works and zero interest of providing experience to remember.

The room size is very small, and it is in the basement, although rooms are clean. They have very limited option in breakfast.

Room is very small parking only for 3 cars. No complementary breakfast.. not worth price..

The stay was comfortable but they need to improve on the breakfast quality. The quality of the food doesnot come even close to the ambience of the property.

I highly recommend Fratelli Guesthouse, we had the most outstanding stay, the rooms we're clean and beds comfortable. Garden siting and parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast, foods🍽️ over all excellent service

Do not go by the images, they are there to deceive you. There are multiple issues 1. The rooms are in basement The first floor is for the owner and the ground is under construction. 2. There is a foul smell. Actually it is the smell of dampness because the rooms are in basement. 3. There is No AC in the room which causes suffocation because of the lack of ventilation. 4. In the name of the ventilation, there is window which do not have iron mesh to stop mosquitoes and insects. So basically, you can't open windows and there is no AC in the room which is in the basement. Hence, no ventilation and more suffocation. 5. The complementary breakfast is very limited and only one plate is allowed per person. No Buffet. So the options are, omelette, poori sabzi, bread toast and tea/coffee. You can choose any one along with tea/coffee. 6. There is no electricity backup. So, if the electricity is gone in the night then even fans will not work. Only one emergency light will be working. Forgot about the warm water from Geyser. You have to take a bath in the cold water. 7. The one star that I have given is for the staff (only helper and cook, NOT MANAGER). The two helpers were very hardworking and helpful. They make sure to attend to our needs in their limited capacity. Kudos to them. The cook was amazing, the tea and poori sabzi was awesome.

Very good stay at this guest house…clean rooms…cooperative staffs…good food as well…the best thing we liked here is that the manager is very cooperative and helpful…overall an excellent stay
