I booked this homestay for one day from 24th to 25th may. I reached shimla in the mid night at 3 a. M. Taxi first asked me rs. 500 to reach at the homestay. Then he asked for rs. 1000 as the road from the shortest route which was around 8-9 kms was blocked. It was in a jungle type location, we kept on searching the homestay for one and half hours in the night but could not find it. The mobile no. Of mr chander, the caretaker was switched of the whole night. I returned back to bus stand and could get other hotel in the morning at 8 a. M. Taxi took from me rs 1300, asking for 1500. As i could not sleep the whole night, i could not visit any place on 26th. The experience was horrible i had to loose 1200 homestay charges+1300 taxi charges+ one day + charges of other hotel. It was a horrible experience.
