It was a very peaceful experience. They have a good collection of paintings, which gives quite artistic feel to the place. Caretakers are helpful and humble. Overall a very good stay.

The pear tree homestay has set the benchmark for me. Very good hygiene along with tasty breakfast. The host mr. Dhiraj has ensured that his guests have a comfortable stay. Manager here mr. Vicky is very helpful in each case, whether it's stay related some request or guidance for planning your day travel in & around shillong. The location of the property is also very good, hardly 20 mins. Walking to city centre. The walking enables you to enjoy & explore the city on your own. Related to stay part, everything has been taken care including attached toilet with geyser, ambient lights in room, tv, good quality mattress, hygienic laundry etc. In a nutshell, the pear tree is a must stay property in shillong.

*review for pear tree b&b* i recently had the pleasure of staying at pear tree b&b, and it was a delightful experience. Located just 20 minutes from police bazaar, this b&b offers an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of the busy market area, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, making my stay extremely comfortable. The property manager, vicky, was exceptionally kind and helpful, assisting with travel arrangements and ensuring that all my needs were met. Matrae, another staff member at the b&b, always had a smile on his face and contributed greatly to the welcoming atmosphere. As a bed and breakfast, pear tree b&b does not offer a buffet, but the food served was homely and satisfying. If you're in the mood for something different, there is always the option to order from outside. Overall, pear tree b&b is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay close to police bazaar without the noise and chaos. With its spacious rooms, friendly staff, and homely food, it provides a perfect retreat. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again.

We stayed for 2 days with family, the rooms are good we booked two rooms, 1 room was very big and one with family. The food is homely food, it was nice stay

We had a one day stay at pear tree. We had the room with balcony view and wow, it was just breathtaking. Caretaker/manager vicky was super warm and friendly. Helped us with lunch and dinner options nearby, planning for next couple of days and rang a few bells to get us one of the affordable cab out there. Thank you so much for all the help and to make our start in meghalaya so amazing.

Decent hotel with good facilities n location is good. Easy access to all.

Breakfast and location both were very good. Parking was a bit of a concern, but then we were traveling in a tempo traveller. Rooms are very good, clean and comfortable. The caretaker is also very helpful and helped us plan our day. Breakfast options are very good. They make fresh breakfast along with tea/coffee. Very good stay overall.

We stayed at this place for five night. We had booked one bedroom. Room was specious and had all basic amenities like bed heater, bathroom gyser, warm water etc. Highlight for my stay was really really nice host and the entire family. In this part of India,it gets dark around 5 PM. Host had suggested us for the local places to visit and popular food. I really liked helpful nature of all the staff member Overall good experience.couldnt have asked for more at the cost they r charging. Nice breakfast Very comfortable stay with the superb host Mr.Bicky. Thanks for the experience

We had a very comfortable stay at pear tree. The rooms were clean and cozy. All amenities were available. Washrooms were clean too. Breakfast was excellent. Only thing missing was an elevator. Highly recommend this homestay to all

Excellent stay and hospitality enjoyed at the pear tree homestay. The staff has been very responsible, caring and they ensured that our stay was comfortable. The food and cleanliness need special mention along with aesthetically decorated premises.

If you ask me about the rooms it was excellent, neat and clean linen. Toilets were kept in top condition, the room on the whole was very cosy. The staff very, very helpful especially mr. Dheeraj and ricky. Even though there was a lack of parking space the staff were extremely cooperative and helped in parking. Too good to be true.

The location of the homestay is excellent. In the centre of the city but very peaceful. The room was very comfortable. It was my first stay in a homestay but the experience was excellent. Definitely will stay here again if revisited.
