The Resort Mumbai

This was my 3rd time at the resort - so needless to say i love visiting the place. This time i found their services even better than my prior experience. Location is 5/5 as it overlooks the arabian sea (and if your rooms are facing the sea view, you get to see the ocean all along. Room service is 4. 5/5 - the only delay i experienced was during checkout time for taking out the luggage - rest all the times they were quickly available with the service needed. High tide restaurant (menu) 4. 5/5 - the only restaurant in the resort offers you a wide spread of all meals - breakfast & lunch / dinner buffets with finger licking to the last bite variety. I landed up over-eating as everything is so yummy! high tide restaurant (service) 5/5 - the staff at the restaurant was very courteous and quick in attending to all the requests. They were also very watchful in terms of ensuring the comfort of their guests. As i was accompanied by a sr. Citizen, they gave enough thought to acknowledge and help whenever needed. Spa - 5/5 the counter staff was very polite and provided information on all the services available and recommended some best ones! the professional who attended to me was exceptionally good at providing the back massage and the treatment i chose for. Overall ambience - 5/5 - the place is kept well maintained across all the sections of the property. Though there is maintenance/ repairs going around, there is no discomfort to the guests and everything is smoothly operational. Special highlight for animal lovers - 4/5 - the resort has introduced farm animals - rabbits, geese, ducks, love birds and a macaw. The animals are well looked after and there's a vet visit on a weekly basis. Suggestion: during the monsoon, there needs to be a better stay arrangment to be done for the rabbits. And better habitat + a companion for the macaw would be better as he seems to be feeling quite lonely in the cage. I am against caged birds - so not having one at all can also be considered. Recreational area - 5/5 - this area too is perfect. There are quite a few indoor & outdoor games for the guests to play. Swimming pool ambience is excellent too. One suggestion to the staff - the provisions in the room need to be given a bit liberally as for every requirement we need to call for it. Proactively keeping it around would have helped the guests not to dial 9. ) overall, i enjoyed my stay & looking forward to drop by again soon!

The resort is an excellent beach side property in the heart of mumbai with a great location. Aksa beach is just a 2mins walk from the The Resort Mumbai's private entry point. I had booked on a special occasion to celebrate. Hence had personally requested over mail to mr. Abhijeet adurkar the general manager of the property for a complimentary room upgrade if possible. Unfortunately since the The Resort Mumbai was booked to capacity over the weekend that could not be possible. Mr. Shahnawaz shaikh, the room-division manager, instead had shown a sweet gesture of promising to arrange for room decor & complimentary cake for the accasion. However to my surprise mr. Tushar & mr. Devendra from housekeeping dept showed so much care by putting across a lovely decor in my room with balloons & towel art. It really made my day. The room provided to us was on time, clean, spacious but unfortunately it was right at the end of the corridor and with absolutely no view. This was a major dissapointment. I mean atleat the management could have tried to accommodate me to a room with some view atleast if not upgrade. Anyhow this property has all the modern amenities a good The Resort Mumbai should have, special mention to the cute pet corner & the little activity arranged for guest engagement to feed the pets like rabbits, ducks and different other variety of birds. In-room food service was timely and good to taste. The buffet breakfast had vast variety of dishes from different regions of india. The property is well maintained and a great family resort to enjoy a quick staycation within mumbai.

The staff were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to ensure that we had a memorable stay. The environment at your resort is perfect for families, with a wide range of activities and games available to keep everyone entertained. We particularly enjoyed karaoke and housie (tambola, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Additionally, i must mention the excellent quality of the products used in the toilet accessories. It's clear that your resort pays attention to even the smallest details to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of your guests. The breakfast at your resort was also excellent, with a variety of options available. I especially appreciated the availability of jain options, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience at the resort was nothing short of exceptional. Thank you for providing such a fantastic place for us to celebrate this special occasion. Spacious and tastefully decorated, my accommodation offered stunning views of the sea. It created a cozy haven to unwind after a whole week of work. The resort boasts a diverse food menu, offering a delightful array of cuisine. The resort mumbai goes above and beyond in providing a range of amenities to cater to every guest's needs. The pool area is a serene oasis, perfect for a refreshing dip, while the well-maintained gardens and walking trails add to the overall charm of the property. The spa services are a great way to relax and rejuvenate. Overall was a great experience.

We have book premium sea view with balcony room, it was not so spacious but was very well maintained with all amenities and a good experience for me. We had a very good view as we got a room on the 6th floor. Hospitality of entire staff in the resort was quite good. The resort is having lot of place like a kids play zone, beautiful birds and great plantation around, open space to sit and chill out, direct access to aksha beach. You can sit on the deck also of the resort and enjoy the beach view. All and all a good experience ! just one thing which bother me a bit was in buffet few food items used to be bit cold but never the less to say whenever we raise this concern the team would ensure that we get hot food immediately on our table but every time to tell them was a bit discomfort for us as hot food is something basic in every restaurant or resort should serve ! it's nice place for a family outing, couple outings and friends groups get together.

The resort was very good, the room was spacious and well laid out but there were cockroaches in the furniture, especially near the refrigerator. Otherwise the property is huge and they have good amenities. The wifi and mobile network was strong. The television in the room was big and was a smart tv, so that's a big plus, especially with kids. The food was of excellent quality and maybe that's why it was very expensive. The buffet had great variety of all kinds of dishes and cuisines and everything tasted good. The service was impeccable and the staff very friendly and polite. They also customised some dishes as per my kid's taste so i really appreciate that effort. The live singing at dinner was lovely and melodious and offered an amazing background to a lovely meal. All in all, a great stay and we can't wait to return! thank you!

I visited the property with my wife and 4 month old kid. It is a beautiful property located opposite aksa beach. The room was clean and so was the swimming pool and other areas of the property. The main issue that we faced was room service. Every time we ordered food, it used to take more than an hour and we could not go downstairs because of our 4 month old kid. Also, to my mind there are limited options for a vegetarian while some may beg to differ. To summarise, it's a good property if a mumbaikar wants to not go far from their home and still enjoy the sunset, sea breeze and good hospitality, but you may have to accommodate the poor room service and restaurant service.

It was a good stay. Hygenic & clean but the main issue was staffs were too lazy for their work. Has to inform several time for a specific work

The ac was not working in our room and it had become really hot in the night and there were some renovation work also that was disturbing outside our window.

Location was close to beachside. Food specially dinner buffet quality was not up to mark. No timely refill of food. Service was good. May be due to shortage of staff we have to call the housekeeping to clean up the room

If you are looking for some place to relax and also keep your toddler entertained and happy, this is the place. Room was clean, view was fantastic (sea facing, best service (provided milk at 4am for my baby and i am specially thankful for the service, good food, kids play area, bicycle/tricycle available, 2 swimming pools, garden, rabbits, birds, ducks, swans for petting, kids menu, they welcomed my baby with a soft toy. Overall we had a awesome time and would like to visit again.

We had stay for 1 day in bay view suite. Rooms were very nice and people are polite. They have provided good baby food as well for our one year old infant. It was very nice stay with the resort.

Nice and clean room, The Resort Mumbai is located adjacent to the beach so beach is easily accessible, food was good, separate gamezone is also there where u can enjoy tt, carrom, ludo, chess etc. Overall a nice stay

The stay was pleasant, the seaside making it a romantic experience for me and my partner! just missed the sunset because of cloudy weather. Food is overpriced for the taste it has and room was old. Glad to see renovation going on there. Would definitely visit again after the renovation to experience more comfort and luxury.
