Review Of THE TEA ROAD

Nice hotel with nice staff. Location was great as it was not far from the popular beaches. Staff was very polite and well behaved.

Very bad rooms no privacy space and there is no amenities inside the rooms

We had stayed for 1 night there. Nice ambience, responding staffs and good service. Thanks to Saleem. Will definitely stay if I visit again to Pondicherry.

Location easy to locate as it was on the main road. 7 kms away from the city in Auroville. Staff was very helpful and cooperative. They arranged The two wheelers for us. Helped us out in a situation at 2 Am. Rooms they were spacious. Bathrooms were clean. Felt like we were in some Chinese hotel. Rooms don't have tv and cupboard. Food was ok. Overall it was a nice experience.

Place is located near The Auro Beach, like a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. Not far from the serenity Beach as well, about a kilometer. It's on the main ECR so it's helpful if you wanna use public transport. It's bang in the middle of Pondicherry and Auroville, so that ways the location is decent, depending upon your preference. The cafe in the hotel is really nice and the staff is very very helpful. Overall a nice experience.

The staff and the incharge was so helpful and provided everything we needed. It's in Auroville. It's cheap and worth the price. Whether with friends or couple or alone. This hotel is the best.

Rooms were nice and clean, food was tasty and fairly priced. The staff and The manager were extremely helpful.

The room was small and gloomy. The room doesn't have proper lighting or proper air-conditioning. The towels were dirty there was no sheet on The beds. There were water issues as well. At this cost try to look for other hotel.

It is definitely not a hotel, it only a home stay. Very unprofessional management.

Good things, workers are very polite. Ready to help. Bad things no TV, sudden power cut and no soft drinks, stay is decent. Clean room and washroom. But, mosquitoes. Food is average and safe stay. We were 3 girls but didn't feel unsafe.

The staff are courteous. Breakfast is complementary and good. No tv in The room. Calm and peaceful.

The hotel is very near to Auro Beach which allowed us to See The sunrise twice, The hotel is good. Staff arranged for car for sight seeing. Very helpful people. Veg food choices are limited for breakfast. A mirror in The room and fan were The only missing things. There is no tv or telephone. But The manager was always a call away for anything. Thanks

Not Worth The cost. Not even bed Tea served. No tv, no people

WiFi speed could have been better.

Good location, OK food, courteous staff, but room is not lighted and smelly.
Bed sheets and room was smelly. Staff told me that it is because of the wood. Lot of mosquito in the lobby and in the restaurant. No natural light in the room. Location was good and staffs were helpful.

Great location, not far off from white Town and promenade beach. Just one minute drive to Auroville beach. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and cooperative. Beautifully Chinese themed restaurant. minimalist touch to the rooms and was rooms. If I make another visit to Pondicherry, I'll certainly stay here.

It is right on the highway and hence easily accessible. Serenity and Auroville Beach are in proximity. Maitrimandir Around 5 kilometers. Vegetarian options are very limited. But there are a few restaurants nearby where you can get decent food in evening it is difficult to walk on the Road due to traffic. But nice and generous staff. Rooms are nice and well maintained. The theme of the hotel is Chinese.
No fan in the room and it was a bit dark.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable and getting on to the bed is a little challenging specially when my mother was there.

Every service provided was excellent.
