Good Rooms but below average service levels
Location and Hotel rooms are good. Service was bad as 2 people were doing everything. Breakfast was below par. No fruits or milk. Just aloo paratha and upma. We had a terrace suite which didn’t have a lift. Early Morning tea not available. Tea quality also not good. Only if the owners employed more people including a dedicated cook, the service levels could be improved. Govind and one more person are really hardworking but overworked. 2 people cannot cater to 30 guests. Even though we booked a day before arriving, the concierge was not aware of our arrival- thus we were welcomed to a very hot terrrace room, cooler without water etc. Promising setup needing better management.

Excellent Stay
Perfect family retreat the property is perfect for a big family like ours with different ages. We're a large group and picky, so it's hard to find a place that suits everyone. The villa was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and the huge swimming pool, gardens, and terraces were great for relaxing and dinning. The privacy, accommodation, and pool made this the ideal holiday for all of us. We've enjoyed it so much. Thank you once again.

Excellent Stay
*if you visit once, you will go again surely* i visited the vaag a few days ago, and it is a really nice hotel. The rooms are big, and the bathrooms are a good size. The staff were friendly and well-trained. Overall, it was an excellent experience. It's a must-visit hotel. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but this one is definitely one of the best!

*pleasant experience* udaipur - a beautiful l city. The vaag was a perfect place to stay in. I had shortlisted a few hotles and we ended up at the vaag, very spacious rooms with ample & quality furnitur must say i was happy with my choise, peaceful location. Very clean and well maintained rooms. Polite and efficient staff. Overall a wunderfull experiance! hope to vista again!

Best Udaipur Family Trip of my Holidays
Stayed here for 2 nights with my family and had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptionally courtius, helpful and acomidating. The rooms were fantastic—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our time at the property, especially relaxing by the pool after a busy day. I would highly recommend this place!

Memorable stay
My friend and i have just returned from our trip to rajasthan, and we absolutely loved our first stop at the vaag. The hotel has a traditional charm and is beautifully designed. Our room had recently been renovated and featured a large window with seating by the pool, where we could relax and take in the view of the lake and its surroundings. The location of the villa is fantastic. After exploring other options in this category, we were so glad we chose this one. The hotel has a kitchen that serves both local rajasthan cuisine and international dishes, and the restaurants offer a variety of dining experiences. While in udaipur, we particularly enjoyed visiting the city palace, lake fateh sagar, lake pichola, and saheliyo ki bari. We made use of the hotel's pool area every evening, which was beautiful and provided a perfect way to cool down. Overall, we believe udaipur is a must-see destination in rajasthan, with its unique charm from the lakes, and the vaag would definitely be our choice of base if we return.
