Budget Friendly stay With a best city view
Absolutely loved my stay here! The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking — you can see the whole city right from your window. The place is clean, cozy, and very affordable compared to others nearby. Hot water was available 24/7, and the caretaker/owner was incredibly kind and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about guests’ comfort. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

Poor Stay
Condition of the rooms are terrible. No hot water after 11 am. No drinking water available at 2nd floor. Require lot a attention to cope up with customers expectations.

Terrible Stay
Location was good but room was smelly and dirty, washroom was small and water leakage was there, bedsheet was dirty and service was bad too.

Room is not clean not up to the mark as or shown doesn’t same. Bathroom is not clean alcohol smelling. It’s not fit for stay family and children. Please can you refund the amount.

I'd like to clarify that according to our records, you didn't check-in to the hotel on [27th September 2025] as per your booking. But next day you came and accommodate for same booking. That is not possible according to our hotel policies. This is absolutely your mistake. Pls avoid criticise us against your mistake.Please let me know how I can make things right for you. If you'd like to discuss this further, I'm more than happy to listen and try to find a solution." -
Not Goo
We booked 2 standard rooms, however once we reached we got one standard room & other room not appropriate as per the room pictures shared in MakeMyTrip. Bathroom are cleaned however rooms are not properly maintained. Water jugs provided but when we poured hot water sediments can be seen. Also bedsheet & towels are of dark colour hiding cleanliness. Only good thing is the location where restuarant, tea stalls, local transport is easily available. I can say it a lodge not a hotel. 24 hr hot water not available only available during morning 6 to 11 am.

Dharshan was especially helpful throughout, making sure all my requests were taken care of quickly and with a smile. We came to Ooty from Chennai for a family vacation. The rooms at Hotel Venus Residency are very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The environment is user-friendly and pleasant. The reception staff, Mr. Binny and Mr. Dharsan, were extremely kind and supportive whenever we needed any help. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly appreciate their hospitality.
