We went to Thekkady with our family. The host was very helpful in getting us the tickets for required tours. He had a lovely garden. Rooms were clean and the location is excellent. Very close to Periyar forest.

Very nice home stay. The owner and his wife named Sara are very good people. Room is very cleaned and bed is very nice with cleaned linen. Breakfast is very nice. They served idli sambhar. Overall very nice staying with them. Recommended for family.

Owner is extremely helpful and guided us throughout for two days for places to visit. They were very welcoming and even offered some fruits from their garden for us to eat. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Around.

The stay was just for a night. It was a comfortable stay. The blankets provided seemed a little old. The location was in the inner Side of the Road but it was very good, the cleanliness and the maintenance were up to the mark and there were a number of trees nearby which was a very good environment. The hosts were very sweet and good. They prepared homely food for us, especially for our daughter.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The whole property was very neat and clean. I got all the basic facilities that I needed. Reaching the property was difficult, it was too far from the City. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed staying there.

The appearance of the resort was excellent and the place was totally hygienic. It was a pleasure to stay in such a nice home stay. The caretakers of the home stay were equally kind and good would strongly recommend this place to my friends. The only problem was it was a bit inside but that didn't bother us much as the hospitality of the caretakers and the place were totally satisfactory.

Location of property is good but care taker is unprofessional and he is cheating if you ask something to get. Tiles are very small in size, tv is not functioning in hall no kitchen and other facilities. It is completely waste of money better stay in hotel.

We stayed in Tranquilou for 2 night 3 days. If you do not expect the support services like a home stay and only want a neat and clean place to stay with minimum requirements. This is a very good place to be 1 Rooms are comfortable size reasonably priced and they always have foreigner guests 2 One or two rooms are good for bigger combined families to stay together. He has a total of seven rooms so small crowd 3. Distance from city center is 5 km. Good, if you have car with you 4 approach road is narrow but in Kerala we can't help it. You have ample car park space inside the property 5. The owner is very supportive receptive and accommodating 6 Breakfast and all generally limited menu unless you ask something specific 7 Washrooms are very neat and clean and have hot water round the clock 8. We had no problems and enjoyed our Home stay again please be warned that its a good home stay and don t expect services like a 3 4 star home stay. Room Tip Top room good for couple and ground floor good for combined families.

narrow road access, no towels provided until asked for, double bed in one room provided for 4 people! no hot water..
