Review Of Varenya Homestay | Kitchen & Caretaker

The property needs a lot of work before it’s fit to host guests, 1. Utility water is a huge problem, quantity of water despite minimally used is pathetic. Had to call the caretaker every two hours as the water supply is over, though he is helpful in addressing the issue no fix was provided 2. Quality of the water, it was dark yellow in colour and unusable to bathe or brush. If it’s hosting people, there should have been at-least an outlet of filtered water. 3. Worst ever was plumbing issues in toilets, flush didn’t work in one of the rooms and the caretaker promised to address it the following day but it was again not fixed during our stay. 4. Not sure whether it was peak season bed sheets and doormats were not properly cleaned, i was able to see of stains in bed sheets. Overall we spent our 2 day stay complaining one thing or the other in the minimal time we stayed indoors rather than getting to enjoy a peaceful stay. If not for the prepayment done we would have immediately left the premises after seeing water condition. Really felt bad always had to call the caretaker for one thing or the other.

If you are planning to visit munnar then you should consider this property. It does have all the facilities 3 bedrooms with attached bathroom. All rooms have heater services.

This is the best home stay we have ever been. The serene ambiance, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms makes it perfect for the purpose of vacation. We really enjoyed staying there and we express our gratitude to the holder of the Property for support and care during our stay. It made us feel home 😊 We surely recommend this place and it's totally worth of the money 👍
