Review Of Vattakanal wood house by bodhi

No room service, no parking available, they don’t even have their own kitchen. You have to order everything from a whole different restaurant even water. The photos of the rooms don’t tell the whole story. The wood cabin is in middle of a neighbourhood with house all around you & to top it all of you have to trek 20 minutes of steep slopes and steps every time you want to go somewhere else.

Stay place was good … care takers also well behaved however this place is not suitable for old people and people with injuries… we have to climb a steep stairs to reach this place .. stairs are not maintained… Also we have to follow up multiple times for food and other basic things are the caretaker lives far away from this place … view and climate in this place is actually worth it ..

The property was preety good with amentities. The property didnot have any almirah or any storage kinda place or any hanger sort off. Rest the rooms were comfortable.

The place was beautiful and comfy

The wood house stay was a tough one in my long traveler's life 1. No approaching road to the cottage and the muddy hiking is very risky if you have little heavy luggage 2. The cottage is just constructed and they started earning without providing basic amenities. There was no closet, no drinking water or glass, no proper curtain ( the curtains are semi transparent, no toiletries, no towel, no shelf in bathroom, no electric kettle, no bedsheets ( bed has only mattress cover. 3. I had to really struggle to get few things arranged to stay three days. 4. As the cottage is at a height and no proper walkway to that from vattakanal taxi stand, i asked them to serve food. They could not keep that commitment. Overall this property is not at all recommend.
