The hospitality was great. The stay was cozy. The upkeep of the stay (fungus /cobwebs - cause of constant rain) can be considered for improvement. Overall a pleasant experience

The homestay had a calm and pleasant atmosphere, which we truly appreciated. However, there were a few concerns during our stay. The lock on the room was broken, and the cupboard couldn’t be closed properly. The biggest issue, though, was with the parking facility. Since the homestay is located in a steep area, parking was quite difficult and risky. Unfortunately, our car suffered some minor damages. With better maintenance of the rooms and a safer parking solution, the overall experience would have been much better. I have already shared my review

Very unpleasant compared to cost - not sure how it got marked as top rated. Property is being used as a money making machine with zero maintenance. Bathroom taps come out. Geaser works but you have to wait 5 mins with the tap open for hot water to come out. Breakfast will be served straight on plates exactly at 8, even if you are not present in the dining room and there will be nobody to serve or even ask for salt. Dinner is promised but you have to order before 5 pm, which is fine. However even if you order within time, owner may refuse due to personal engagement. While its true that they don't promise any food service except free breakfast and pre-ordered dinner, on requesting for off-hour tea (it was only 5 pm) owner said "oh no, who will make tea now" instead of politely refusing. Spiders hang right above your bed, while you sleep. Guests are allowed to refill water bottles from the water purifier themselves. However the water filter almost never works and guests are made to purchase packaged mineral water from host due to poor maintenance on their part. Parking is a problem because the road in front is narrow and one way. You have to ask the cab to wait at a distance until you are ready. Only good thing is, food cooked is excellent.

Very clean, cosy, comfortable and the courteous staff made our stay very homely and memorable. Breakfast provided was basic and could add a couple of items. Approach road is narrow and difficult to park a vehicle even for a minute. Barring these the Homestay is highly recommended

Good rooms and hospitality. But the entry of the road is very narrow. Innova type cars will find little difficulty in making a turn

It was a nice stay here. Hotel looks beautiful from outside. The rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel staff are good and the food was served promptly. water availability was a little problematic. Had to ask them to refill again and again. Otherwise it’s a pleasant stay overall.

Really excellent vela homestay, as like own home, their behaviour services was so good. Its lovely.

The stay was very comfortable. Bed linens were clean and fresh. Good fresh breakfast. I reached at 7am, which is way before checkin time, but the host was warm and welcoming and accommodated me in her living room, till my booked room was vacated by the previous guest.
