Vintage aesthetic rooms but lack of maintenance
Customer service was good. The receptionist was very helpful and did an amazing job. However the condition of the jacuzzi was in bad shape. It looked dirty and had hard stains which didn’t clear. The filtration system/jacuzzi pump was dirty as well. So no matter how many times you emptied the tub and filled it fresh, the filtration systems dirt somehow seemed to be find a way to make dirt floating around in the water again. The swimming pool was terribly maintained. It looked like it wasn’t cleaned for days. The Ac in the room was leaking and after informing the receptionist, they had offered to clean up an alternate room as a replacement but by the time it was done, I had already settled in and it had gotten late. This is something that should’ve been done before the key was handed over to the guest.

The room was spacious. The Jacuzzi experience was pain relieving and amazing. The complimentary breakfast was tasty. The service team was courteous.

Hotel rooms were clean, nice and cozy. Hotel staff was really polite and welcoming. Food was also really scrumptious South Indian breakfast😊 I would really recommend this hotel for folks travelling Pondi. Thanks Villa Ecotiva for a pleasant stay and also a return gift.

One of the best place to stay in pondych
I had a wonderful stay at [Ecotiva villa]. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Nice and pleasant stay . breakfast was 4/5 , swimming pool was 4/5 and the jacuzzi was 5/5 . Service 5/5.

Decent stay
The room was decent but need little improvement in the ambience and cleanliness. In-house food was not satisfactory. Other services were good.

A Disastrous Stay – Poor Maintenance and Inedible Breakfast
My recent stay at this hotel was a complete disappointment, and I feel compelled to share my experience so others can make an informed choice. The problems started with the lack of basic amenities, like doorbells for the rooms, which caused inconvenience. However, the real nightmare began during a rainy night when our room got flooded due to poor maintenance. Water seeped in, leaving the floors soaked and making it impossible to relax. To make matters worse, the breakfast area was also flooded, adding to the chaos and discomfort. Speaking of breakfast, it was shockingly bad. For a hotel located in a South Indian country, serving South Indian cuisine, the food was not only below standard but completely inedible. The dosa, omelette, and other items were so bad that we walked out. We even overheard other guests expressing their dissatisfaction with comments about how horrible the food was. Adding insult to injury, I found a hair in my omelette, which was downright unhygienic and unacceptable. To top it all off, the hotel was carrying out renovation work late into the night—up until 11 or 11:30 PM. The loud drilling noises were extremely annoying and disrupted the peace. We eventually had to call and request them to stop, which should never have been necessary in the first place. This stay was far from the relaxing experience we hoped for. The hotel desperately needs to improve its maintenance, food quality, and customer consideration. Until these issues are resolved, I would strongly advise against staying here

Your room has inspected before check-in, the room was cleaned properly, eventhough, if you felt not cleaned, if you inform us, we will clean it once again immediately. After your checked out , we have checked your room, no water dripping anywhere in the room. During your stay, it was an accident , water dripping from the A/C. Breakfast is Fresh, Homemade & Hygienic and specially Unlimited. As you are unaware, many of the hotels providing readymade breakfast with limited recipes. Anyhow, each perception varies, we are not going to change our menu and taste, as many of our Guests liked and praised our Breakfast. There were many other Guest stayed during your stay, no one complaint about our breakfast. Regarding drilling work, unavoidable but anyhow we stopped the work immediately once you have complaint. You have requested for Jacuzzi, we have clarified that your room category has no jacuzzi. The feedback shows your anger for not getting Jacuzzi in your room and not in the mind of helping for improvement. Have a nice day !

Villa Ecotiva: Our 4 D/3 N stay experience
We stayed here for 4 D/3 N in a suite room with Jacuzzi. Had a pleasant experience. Swimming pool is good & compact. Jacuzzi is excellent. Breakfast is good. Online foods are allowed. Service people responded to our calls, requests. Fish spa is enjoyable. Location wise it's near to all favourite beaches, hotels, other places. Veg foods are limited here but tasty. We felt the place is still under improvisation & expect to have a proper Villa setup nearby. I recommend this Villa for couples and families (only adults). Not suitable for aged people as it doesn't have a lift facility. Suggestion: 1) Breakfast timing can be improved. 2) Room service, quality can be improved as we faced issues with AC, TV dish box. 3) Parking is in open space & it's at our risk. Can arrange a proper parking facility so that we don't need to worry all the time. Overall, we had a pleasant experience on Stay, food, service throughout our stay & thanks for the compliment gift from the Villa.

Stay was nice. Room was very small. Jacuzzi was very small for 2 people to get in. It was more of a bath tub. Restaurant not available. Complimentary breakfast was pathetic. Pool was good
