Fantastic experience. Visalam is an old chettiar house restored to the last detail to give the visitors the chettiar mansion experience and it fulfills the objective 110. The stay, the food, the courteous staff all make it a wonderful experience and worth every paisa spent. Great job guys, keep it up.

Cg h visa-lam is everything you can ask for in experiencing a beautiful chettinad heritage in the heart of kanadukathan. A very well located property that is close to all places you would want to visit in chettinad. The rooms were very spacious and in true chettinad style. We felt grandeur in every aspect of the hotel amenities. The staffs were very courteous and accommodating our asks. The little stories and anecdotes they share about the history of the place and the hotel itself adds color to your memory of chettinad. One aspect i would like to see is more variety of local cuisine in the menu. I am very happy that i chose to stay in visa-lam and experience the chettinad culture. Would highly recommend this place if you have a chettinad visit marked in your bucket list!

Excellent hospitality by the staffs.. their cuisines are so authentic and delicious. We feel like home, even after today it feels so much good in our memories. Actually the aunthenticy of the property took us back to our roots, culture, traditions. We had a very peaceful me time ☺️☺️☺️

Visalam offered a chettinadu life style experience that was pleasant to all our family members. The location is very peaceful and roaming around the village was an energising experience. It also made us very proud about our history and the cultural heritage.

Heritage property with nice spacious room. Situated near Raja Palace. Cordial staff, traditional welcome at the time of arrival. Serves amazing tea and coffee in the mornings and evening.

Excellent stay at visalam mansion in the chettinad region. A rich mansion with a large courtyard, surrounded by guest rooms. Nice open pool and an innovative tea coffee service. Very tasty chettinad style dinner in terrace - need to pure order by 6:00 pm for fresh purchases and cooking time. Very close to handlooms who also sell at reasonable prices. Very attentive staff. Good to go for village walk / bike ride to get a feel and visit other mansions.

Top hotel in terms of amenities, food and service. Excellent stay and wished it was longer! would like to return soon. Cdh group has very good properties and we have enjoyed our stay in few of them.

Cg h earth - visa-lam has an amazing ambience and the property is beautifully maintained! the large rooms, furniture and the age old aesthetics were a treat to experience. The staff were friendly and greeted us with happy smiles. They are also knowledgeable about the places to visit in the surrounding areas. They have various recreational activities as well which doesn't make our stay boring at all. We found minor inconveniences with the taste in food( we are vegetarians) as they weren't authentic chettinadu style( more apt for guests from abroad) but decent.

Cg h visa-lam is a lovely property in the picturesque village of kanadukathan. The village is dotted with beautiful palaces, greenery and is very serene. Cg h visa-lam has excellent staff and food and service is exceptional.

If you want to have a serene stay away from busy life and cherish a beautiful culture of india, this place should be in your travel list. Staffs dressed in traditional attire, the chettinad architecture, exquisite cuisine, beautiful landscape all adds to the wonderful experience. A must visit !

The property is quite beautiful and well maintained. Some of the areas at the hotel however were not available for use by the guests. The food was good but more variety could be introduced.

Excellent restoration done on this heritage property! loved the spacious room and the aesthetics of the property. Many cozy nooks to relax in and loads of activities as well to keep one engaged. The food was awesome - every meal was a delight! the best part though was the staff (special shout out to shiva) who were all courteous and great on service! look forward to coming back soon!

We stayed in visa-lam cg h earth property for two nights. Beautiful facility, excellent food and wonderful staff. The staff are local people but trained efficiently to cater to customers. They are dressed according to their local tradition and are always helpful. They have activities planned, but they also sent us an itinerary with maps to visit places. It was pretty easy and we could plan our day well. Wonderful people and excellent stay. Every detail in the room was taken care, it was an excellent facility. Thank you for the pleasant stay. Shiva and yoga. You were wonderful

Luxury resort but could have been improved a little on the luxury thing. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. Must stay in karaikudi if you are travel-ling.
