I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing as it did not meet even the basic expectations of comfort and service. Limited Service Hours: We requested tea around 8 PM, but the restaurant attendant informed us that tea service stops at 7:30 PM. After that, only dinner orders are accepted. It’s quite inconvenient for guests who expect basic beverages to be available throughout the evening. Lack of Basic Glassware: We requested glasses for a small get-together, but the staff mentioned they didn’t have any. We then asked for regular glass tumblers, but surprisingly, those weren’t available either. We were eventually given plastic glasses, which felt very substandard for a hotel stay. No Ice or Chilled Beverages: We ordered Sprite, but it was not chilled. When we asked for ice cubes, we were told that the hotel didn’t have any. This shows a clear lack of preparedness in terms of basic amenities. Frequent Power Cuts: There were continuous electricity outages during our stay. Although the hotel had a generator, the backup was unreliable—the power would go off and come back after about 10 minutes each time, which was very frustrating. Poor Room Maintenance: The shower handle was broken, and at one point, the exhaust fan actually fell off, which was extremely unsafe and could have caused serious injury. The only positives about this place were the beautiful view from the room and the quality of the food, which was quite good. Overall, despite the scenic view and decent food, the poor service, lack of basic facilities, and maintenance issues make this hotel not worth recommending.

This was honestly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I regret booking this place. The food was horrible — not just bad in taste but also with no variety at all. Day after day, it felt like we were being served the same low-quality meals. When it rained, things got even worse. There were constant power cuts, and unbelievably, the hotel had no proper backup! We were left in the dark, literally, during the rainy season. Can you imagine paying for a hotel and not even having lights when you need them? The furniture looked like it was decades old, broken in some places, and gave the whole place a dull, depressing vibe. Cleanliness was completely missing — rooms were dirty, hygiene was not maintained, and it felt like no one cared about the guests’ comfort or health. What annoyed me most was the manager’s attitude. Instead of being helpful, he kept giving us wrong information about the rain and weather, without even checking facts. It felt careless and unprofessional, and it just added to the frustration. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It ruined my trip, and I would never come back here again.

Rooms were not that great compared to the price. On the first day we did not even get hot water for bath and on checking we were told that because the hotel was full it is a problem. Fan was either working on speed 1 or 5 and was not of any use. AC was working but we could not manage the fan speed. TV was not working and DTH was deactivated. Food was good but slightly expensive. As mentioned in the booking there was no shaving kit and other iron in the room. I am not too happy as the room was not at all up to the mark compared to the high rates.

Regular long power cuts and no power backup at hotel. We spent the whole night without power at the hotel in hot and humid condition as DG was not working. Cleanliness is also not up to the mark. The swimming pool is not for guests only staff use it. Food quality is average. I need composition as the holiday is completely ruined.

VITS playing with its image which is establish with so much efforts put across, Hotel need better management, good hygiene, lot of repair and many such more. Will be great if VITS send some secret agent as Guest to feel experience

I was not happy about the stay, actually the rooms were pretty good. but there are many things that are not really pleasing. broken door handles, rusted fans, and I think one of the worst swimming pool (surrounding of the pool is not good), the food was good though. The lights went off for few hours, can't blame the hotel about that. overall the stay was average

No Light, Backup Light, Net for more than 12 hrs during our stay. No communication, no curtsy and they were least bothered.

Very scarce electricity from yesterday to today. Full night no electricity, no generator. Morning 3-4 hours light was there.

Property was not clean, food was ok, less staff, swimming pool was in very bad condition...overall very poor stay

superb location..!!! sea front rooms...!!! upgraded rooms were provided to us...!!! Food was super tasty and everyone should definitely try their Sea food....!!!

Bed sheets & Pillow cover not provided clean even though Check in was done 5 hrs late. Toilet was not clean. Housekeeping is very poor.

Lift was not working and as we were all senior citizens we were made to climb two floors for 2 days. There was no water on one day and the water from the taps were salty. There was a generator but they had no diesel to start the same so we were without electricity for whole of the evening between 7pm to 9 pm. It was a terrible experience which we have never encountered earlier.
