It is a beautiful heritage haveli converted into a comfortable stay. The staff is great and their hospitality is amazing. Although the food options are limited, it is delicious.

Situated in a little cul de sac in small town near Mandawa. It’s a beautiful Shekhawati haveli, two actually joined together seamlessly. The food and the presentation was excellent. Everything was perfect.

Firstly, the property is definitely one of a kind. It is a combination of two havelis which has been converted into one gorgeous hotel. Every corner is picture perfect and the service is excellent. Will totally recommend to anyone coming this side, does not deserve to be missed.

It’s amazing how the whole staff makes you feel comfortable and in the evening, you will be given a tour of the haveli and around 7ish, you will be given a glimpse of the rajasthan folk culture. Loved it. Would surely recommend it.

The entire concept right from the manner in which the haveli has been restored to the way they are currently operating it is just fabulous! in times of the pandemic and working on a low staff with minimal profits this place has truly shown exceptional hospitality! vivaan is truly a gem of a place! an oasis in the desert.

Everything was good about the kothi accommodation. I was fortunate to be welcomed by owners of the property. Staff are very generous and made our experience a five star rating. They don’t say no to anything you ask for. Evening cultural folk song, puppet show and kothi tour made our day. I must say, book the accommodation without any second thought in mind.

Some improvements needed

I went with my family to this property and surprisingly, the property was really good. The food, staff's behaviour was very nice and we really loved this part. However, there are some points worth mentioning which definitely needs improvement- 1. The room service was not upto the mark. Sometimes when we called the reception, nobody picked up the phone. 2. Some other times, when we called for a bottle of water, or for extra blankets in the night- nobody came even after repeated calls. 3. In one of our rooms, the bedsheet had holes in it. 4. Since we went in the month of january, we required hot water in the bathroom. The issue that i faced is that we need to waste 2-3 buckets of water before actually the hot water starts coming from the tap, which should not be the case. It is actually a lot of wastage of water. 5. We were provided with 2 small water bottles per room, per day- which i think is insufficient. Atleast 2 liters of water should be there per room and provided extra of need be(which they did not provide. Hope this review helps.
In the hotel, when we arrived, no temperature checks were taken for us. While at the time of checkout, we saw that temperature check was being performed for another family that arrived. So i guess it was a random call and not a procedure that is being followed strictly. However, all of the staff was wearing masks at all times, which was a good thing.

Much recommended place to stay if you are in mandawa, away from hustle bustle in a remote village 9 kms before mandawa, the hotel is both a royal stay. Food and hospitality was amazing.

I stayed at the Hotel for the 2nd time and needless to say, the staff never fail to impress you. Social mention for Mr. David who was courteous enough to offer us a bumper upgrade once he got to know we were on our honeymoon. The staff are well trained and very courteous. You will not hear them say no for something you want. Even the drivers are taken care of without any extra cost. My driver told me to add a 5 star for the service he got. The food quality is awesome. Rajasthani special Lal Mans deserves a special mention. Hats off to the cook at Vivaana. Finally, the decor of the hotel is so well done. Kudos to the owners for going in so deep into the history of the small sleepy village and making the hotel around the existing stuck re instead of changing it. The owners have wonderfully integrated luxury without changing an iota of the place. The frescos in the Haveli have been so wonderfully and carefully restored, you will feel you are a part of them when you are in the room. There are descriptions of the different areas and rooms for you to better connect and understand the place you are staying in. Needless to mention the beauty of the original haveli that had been maintained like the woodwork and the paintings. It would not be overstating if I call it mini Taj. Hats off to team Vivaana and I will surely visit again next year.
