it was nice stay .The resort is in v beautiful location .Among the activity the soft trek is must try (there is leeches ) but once you reach tea plantations(leeches are less here ) the view and waterfalls is worth it .The staff is very courteous and good .Overall v good stay

Average Stay
The feel of the resort is very good i.e the location and the view from the property. There are 2 routes to the resort, anyone having a 4*4 car can go through the google maps route els the resort staff sends another route to reach the resort. The bad part is the staffs are not that courteous. The rooms are not at all the worth of price you pay. The rooms give u a feel like 1-2 star category. We had taken a 2 bedroom villa & a presidential suite. The presidential suite is not upto the mark, no bathtub in the presidential villa, 2 bedroom villa is very congested and the feel is like a old village home. The curtains in both our rooms were stained. I would say that I wouldn’t go back to this place.

Best stay with nice nature walk and trekking
coupleGood place to stay. Great room. Staff were very humble. hospitality was great. Pool was clean but very chilly due to climate. You get a feel of being in forest. Evening nature walk and morning trekking was great. trekking covered small part of forest, tea estate and ended with waterfall.food was delicious.

This place is not even worth of 1 star for the five star price they are charging, extremely small room, terrible smell, no exhaust, poor quality food, only price is like Taj

Poor Stay
The travel to the hotel was a nightmare, the roads were bad. The facility has renovation going on, the pool's flooring had broken tiles which is a serious health hazard. There was no proper lighting at the pool. No activities at the place. The service was fine, i guess. The food at the hotel was half bad and half okay.

Unwind your tiredness!
coupleGreat peaceful ambience, good place even for bird watching, can see the forests, tea estates and even the Kabini peak at distance. Extremely friendly staff everywhere, really talented singer at their live music dinner. Cost wise they should work around. for suite room without TV/bathtub is expensive. No private pool, the common pool is great but the tiles are broken here and there. Indoor games they have chess, caroom and TT. They need to change the TT rackets as most are worn out. Overall a wonderful place to stay. No complimentary late check out as mentioned , 11am is their check out time, ideally it should be 12pm.

A decent staycation but slightly overrated
groupWe went for a monsoon staycation and it was a decent experience. Firstly, the road to reach the resort is a bit tricky if it’s rainy season and it’s a self drive car with no hill assist. We couldn’t go sight seeing as it was raining continuously, but it was a good experience spending time in the resort. The view from the restaurant is breath taking, and the food was good. I personally felt the spa is a bit overrated. One issue is the room maintenance with gloomy weather. It was never dry. Once mopped, the floor never really dries nor do the moist curtains and towels. If you’re up for this, you can pick the place.

Not worth for the price we pay
familyThe property overall is average when compared to the price of it. It is not worth for the money. The location is good, but there is no clear view from the rooms it is only from the dining area and the pool. The path of last 600mts to reach the resort is really bad. The food is not good at all, doesn't seem fresh and the kerala cusine which we expect to be good is below average. The amenities are okay, we could not use the badminton court as it was slipery. The pool and the view is really good and maintained well. The service from the staff is very good and helpful. Since it was monsoon season, there were a lot of insects that would come into the room, it was kinda scary and very uncomfortable.

3. Location is good but service is not good infact bad. Restaurant staff are slow and do not have communication skills nor understand what we ask. Breakfast time is 8 am but they start only 0830. Front office also slow. Took hour to get towels to pool on request. For the price they charge, i do not recommend this hotel.
