Amazing place with nice views. Liked the vibe and bonfire experience. Chef madan was helpful and cooked nice meals. Must visit if you can do a downhill trek of 100 m. They provide free luggage assistance which was very helpful. Manager naveen mentioned there is a 300m trail also to reach the property for elderly, though we were fine doing a downhill trek which took like 5-7 min

The place is nice and cozy, we loved the vibe. Property is 100 m down the main mukteshwar road. We stayed at the property with family, including a toddler. Caretaker was nice and humble, and cooked nice homemade meals. It’s a great value for money if you don’t mind taking a small walk to the location.

The staff was very courteous and the place is also beautiful. It was a memorable experience for me. Ambience is best with homely food. Beautiful scenery around and easy to walk to the place. I would recommend this place to anyone who is near mukteshwar.

The home stay was quite good… properly well maintained… washroom was hygienic…. And the caretaker bhaiya and cook bhaiya was very helpful and kind…. Food was also there.. cooked freshly… Overall had a good experience at Wanderlust homestay, mukteshwar

The hotel is good but the road reaching the hotel is very uncomfortable especially for the old age parents. Rest once you reach you will get a beautiful view of the himalayas ! food superb! cleanliness superb! rest everything is good!

Location- beautiful location, enjoyed beautiful sunrise. Reach- 300 mtr off road walk to homestay from main road. Parking- no issues rooms- very spacious, neat & clean washrooms amenities- amenities provided as per commitment. Like blower, kettle etc. Also provided extra blanket without charge when demanded. Staff- polite and cooperative. Helped in picking luggage from parking to homestay and back. Food and snacks- not available at stay but u can order to caretaker, they will made available. Food quality - quality was good. Matter of concern- geysers didn't worked in morning all in all it was a good experience

Not for elderly

We recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. The construction of the property is quite nice, and it offers a cozy environment, especially suitable for large groups. However, the approachability to the property is a significant challenge. Unfortunately, you cannot reach the property by road. The location provided on makemytrip (mmt) requires a 7-8 minute trek down a hill, which is highly unsuitable for senior citizens and children. To add to our inconvenience, we only discovered a relatively safer path requiring a 10-minute walk after we had already trekked down the hill. Once we reached the property, we found that it is managed by a single caretaker who also doubles as the cook. While he was a decent and polite guy, his cooking skills were quite limited. Despite being informed of our arrival in advance, the fridge was empty and there were no groceries available to prepare dinner. Additionally, there were a lot of flies in our room, and no matter what we tried, they wouldn’t budge, making our stay quite uncomfortable. Another disappointment was the bonfire. Due to a lack of stored dry wood, and recent rain, the wood provided was moist, resulting in a smoky and unpleasant bonfire experience. Overall, while the property itself is well-constructed and pleasant for group stays, the accessibility issues, lack of proper amenities, and the fly problem significantly affected our stay. This place could be a great retreat if they address these concerns. -
