An excellent palace with pure heritage culture. The place is surrounded by acres of land. With beautiful gardens and architecture of colonial style. I’m pretty impressed and quite breakfast with south indian and english cuisine.

Amazing property and what a marvelous location it is. Though property is not maintained but that's problem of owners. Staff does it's best to satisfy guests. Five stars to their staff which is very less in number but has great sense of hospitality. 1 star to owners who don't spend maintaining such a great place!

The stay ar the welcome heritage fernhills palace ooty was excellent. Right from the welcome to the rooms to the service everything was top notch. I would like to add that make my trip never disappoints. However i just have one concern regarding the car and the driver. The driver otherwise was extreme cooperative but did not understand tamil or english and was comfortable only with malayalam. Overall it was a very nice experience, apart from the car and the driver.

The property is located in a very nice place close to all tourist attaractions. The palace turned into a hotel is a must visit. The rooms take you back the kings era, giving you the nostalgic feel. The rooms are well furnished with antique furniture, paintungs and carpets. The hotel is owned by the wadayar group. The thing which i noticed that stands out is that they have not appointed professionally trained staff. But the staff all are very courteous and helpful. They have been retained for over 3 decades each which shows how good the employers are. Over all the property is a must visit to get the royal feel. Great job done by the staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at in ooty, and i must say it was a good experience. I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile from the staff. Rooms: the rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Service: the service was very good. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from.

It’s a wonderful heritage property with a vintage feel which only old palaces can give. Rooms are tastefully done and service just right understated and efficient. Highly recommended.

It's an awesome property, excellent location, great ambience, huge rooms, staff is good. Shooting of many movies done here. The dining hall is huge with great ambience. It's a heritage property, summer palace of mysore king. All rooms are very big. Food was also good. Cycles are available for ride in the amazing lush green ground. Since it is 180 years old property, needs renovation, 24 hr hot water supply was an issue. Overall it's an excellent property for couples who want to relax in the lap of nature, away from crowd. The higher cost is justified as the property is beautiful. Best for those who can afford.

The fernhill palace ooty is more than 150 years old property belonging to the maharaja of mysuru. The regent suite i stayed in was around 2000 sq ft. The size and coziness were amazing. The bathroom was fitted with a bathtub jacuzzi. Food was also very nice at a great price. The staff is very polite and helpful. Mr jerkins at the reception helped me and upgraded my suite upon arrival. They even let both my kids to stay at no extra cost. Live life king size at this palace.

We stayed in the hotel from 12th to 15th august. It was a pleasant stay. Every request was honored like providing hot water at 3 am in the morning and many others. What stands out is that robert and team gave back our gold chain which we had left in the room and didn’t realise what we had left. Food is awesome too. Superb place incredible people.
