Excellent Stay
Property is very good. Especially the staff is very courteous and takes care of your small things. Food was delicious and preparation was excellent.we stayed for 2 days , and we were three families, all senior citizens, and best part was that 2 were non vegetarian and myself a vegetarian. But they asked for menu and suggested also.we had B/F& Dinner package. Hence it was an enjoyable stay. Rooms were big, sheets were clean and tidy. AC was effective.swimming pool was well maintained. Overall it was a good experience.i recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful stay, then choose this property.

Very nice property. Being in the center and having walkable distance to most of the attractions. Well maintained heritage property. Food is excellent 👍🏻 Staff is very polite and cooperative. Worth staying in the property if visiting Jaisalmer.

Great suite room. Lovely staff. Lots of heritage elements- it is a museum after all. The evening meals in courtyard are lovely.

Excellent Stay
familyWelcome heritage mandhir is a beautifully decorated traditional 2 century old palace still in use by the maharaja's family. One wing is the hotel, one the museum and the other ysed by the family. The rooms are mesmerizing taking you back to over 200 years ago. The fort is visible from the rooftop. The venue for dinner is under the stars with big bonfires and traditional music. Awesome experience. Negative was only the shower which was troublesome but otherwise great option to stay in jaisalmer.

Worst stay and very bad service
familyHorrible. They have only reply in no. No information of lunch timing given. We checked in and went to restaurant and they said no lunch is available only french fries can be ordered. My kid was so hungry but they denied giving us food after requesting also. We need to eat lunch on road side. Worst experience. Night was so uncomfortable. Weird loud sound coming whole night and i also complained the reception but no help. I want my refund for both the rooms. Waste of time.

Please note all hotels have a policy of having meal timings, and if a guest wants something apart from these timings, then snacks etc. are available as was put forward to you. Please note that it is not that you were refused intentionally, but it is our sincere request to kindly follow the timings so that we can provide good services to all our guests. We understand that because of that you may be annoyed with us. Please also note that any noise and disturbance was not caused in the hotel campus. Great place, great staff for a relaxing stay
coupleLovely stay. While the rooms have an old world charm, the experience goes up another level with the wonderful staff of the hotel. Not one bad experience. The wait staff of jaswant singh, chandan singh, sudarshan, nuvendu and hanuman to name a few. If you all for something special, they will do their utmost to make it happen. For example, i asked for a local ker pickle which they did not have, but next day they had got it from the market. The others working silently and efficiently in the background as well as the people in the front desk were equally efficient. The central location of the hotel only makes it all better. Just a wonderful experience

The toilet attached to our room was having a very bad sewerage smell which made usage terrible. We lodged a complaint with reception.

Good Stay
familyWe stayed for 2 nights. We had booked one heritage room and one deluxe room. The heritage room was very spacious and near the swimming pool. However, there were only 2 chairs and 2 stools. I think a sofa or additional chair is required. The property is located within the walled city and there is a section reserved for the Maharaja. The fort is around 1 km from this location. We had buffet dinner on both nights. one the first day, it was average, but on the second day it was good. Similar observation for the breakfast. However, items are limited. Staff is very courteous.

Average Stay
Buffet for breakfast and dinner was not good as per the star rating of the hotel. No proper palace tour was conducted by the hotel. Timnings for the breakfast was just till 0930hrs.

Excellent Stay
Stay was excellent. This hotel is inf-act the actual palace, part of it converted into hotel and the royal family continues to live here and there is also a museum within. Hotel is excellent in service and hospitality and we loved dining in the roof top restaurant with the backdrop of the jaisalmer fort. The rooms are nice and breakfast is good. Certainly recommend this to every traveler to experience the palatial feel and also live right in the heart of the city.

Memorable Diwali stay at Mandir Palace
familyThis was the quintessential palace hotel experience. We stayed two nights in a comfortable room (got lucky and got upgraded to a larger one) and enjoyed strolling around the premises to see the old temples and the museum. The dinner at the rooftop restaurant was quite nice, you can see the fort and enjoy the sights and sounds. The gentlemen at the front desk were really nice and helpful. The location is ideal in the centre of everything. They’ll arrange cabs etc if you need any.

familyIt is located in the main market area of jaisalmer. Once you enter the premise, it's a wonderful feeling. Breakfast spread was limited but taste was good. Staff members are extremely polite. We had a great stay.

coupleThe mandir palace has its own charm since part of it still is a museum and the royal family’s residence. The overall experience however was poor, the room is shaby, they do not even have blankets or comforter, they gave a bed sheet to use as a blanket. The service of the restaurant staff is good but food is horrible. I had ordered grilled chicken steak and got chicken curry with bones and french fries. It was the worst food i have ever tasted. For the price the hotel charges, i would say it is not worth the hype. The only saving grace is the heritage of the place. Overall, i wouldnt want to go back to this place.
