Perched on the spine of the Garhwal Himalayas like a pearl tiara, ITC Sovoy is where the Raj never ended—and thank heavens for that. The 1902 heritage mansion, freshly swaddled in ITC’s signature polish, marries old-world gravitas with 21st-century indulgence. From the moment the liveried doorman swings open the wrought-iron gates and the scent of deodar drifts in, you’re not checking in—you’re stepping into a sepia photograph that learned how to pamper.

We stayed at Savoy Mussoorie to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences ever. The property is absolutely stunning – a perfect blend of old-world charm and luxury. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered a serene view that made every moment feel relaxing. The hospitality was exceptional, and the team added thoughtful touches to make my birthday extra special, which truly warmed our hearts. The ambiance, food, service, and overall atmosphere were top-notch. Whether it was enjoying peaceful mornings in the property or exploring the beautifully kept premises, everything contributed to a perfect getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Mussoorie. We would love to come back again!

Our stay at Welcome by ITC Hotels, The Savoy, Mussoorie was nothing short of magical. From a beautifully decorated room to a surprise cake during breakfast and warm wishes from the team, every detail was handled with such thoughtfulness and grace — it genuinely touched my heart. A special thank you to Mr. Gautam Valli, whose thoughtful gesture of upgrading our room truly elevated our experience. The upgraded room offered breathtaking views of the mist-covered hills and was beautifully appointed with elegant vintage décor — a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Our room was elegantly furnished with vintage décor and offered a breathtaking mountain view. The housekeeping team maintained it impeccably, adding little touches that made us feel genuinely cared for. Dining at The Grand Dining Room was a delight — from lavish breakfast spreads to exquisite dinners, every dish was crafted with care and flavour. The high tea was another highlight. Dal Bukhara at The Royal Afghan is a must try. Whether it was the serene spa, the live music & games in the evenings, or simply strolling through the beautifully landscaped gardens, every moment felt special. The Savoy is more than a hotel — it’s an experience that blends nostalgia, luxury, and heartfelt hospitality. We left with unforgettable memories and a promise to return soon.

Food is not upto the mark

I visited the property with my husband to celebrate his birthday as the weather was not good so Mussoorie was the safest place to visit from Delhi for our special occasion and savoy was our choice to stay. Our stay in the property was amazing. It was raining heavily outside hence we could not go outside to explore the city. But the hotel offered so much to us helping us to enjoy, relax and explore while enjoying the weather. Aditi from the staff gave us the property tour and aligned many activities to do within the property making out day even more special. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for your special days celebration or even want to treat your loved ones special.
