Review Of Wooden ECR Sea Resort

Pros: Good looking rooms with the automatic screens and touch screen switches. Air purifier was there and bathroom was neat. Swimming pool was good. Location was good. Restaurant was expensive but the food was nice. Either way you'll have limited options available from food outside. Veg meals - 250 Non veg meals - 325 Prawns fry - 300 Cons: The bed had pests/cockroach and sheets were kind of torn and not clean AT ALL. We saw the stains in it. If we knew this before we would've taken a bedsheet with us. Flush was leaking whenever we used it, had to shut the waterline line to avoid wasting water. Shower was not working properly. We had to hold it for the water to run. Bed was not bouncy or soft. It had Glass door like the outer area on whole. So no privacy should be expected. We can hear whatever they're talking downstairs. Lock was not working. When asked about it, they were saying without the card no one can open it from outside. Overall, don't pay in advance. Check the rooms and pay at property. We had no choice but to book in advance because of the urgency. Choose wise.

I was charged for 3 adults. Since it was 30km from pondicherry i thought it was a big sea facing resort as the name suggest. First of all its not a resort. Google list it as a 4star property which is misleading. Its a small place with some 10 units facing the small swimming pool. When we arrived it was flies all over and u had to keep your room door closed. Complimentary bfast was a combo veg thali and that too they were understaffed. The staff were very polite and helpful though.

Excellent Room & Service was good, easy access to location (on ECR), breakfast was top notch. Had OTT subscriptions, So… best place to chill. Consistent maintenance is needed for long term performance of all the amenities. Pondy is almost 30-45 mins from here, be aware & plan accordingly.

I liked the place. It was in this spirit that I chose the hotel. Of course, it’s a long way from Pondy, but everyone is kind and welcoming; secluded, clean air; tasty and cheap food. It's about a 25-minute walk to the real "scourge", but the rooms are named after famous beaches...))) Well, everything is cool! By the way, I have never seen anything like this anywhere, which is why I get a special star regarding the individuality of the place - the deserted coastline is strewn with the corpses of urchin fish: very unusual, albeit creepy! Thanks to the owners - prosperity, prosperity and expansion to you!

Awesome stay in wooden rooms. Rooms are very neat and tidy. Only demerit is it’s far from pondicherry town.

Recommended - clean, quiet and porsh was worth the experience the staff were very helpful and overall a wonderful experience defently recommended

Peaceful place with great ambience. The staff were very hospitable. Rooms were equipped with modern technology and they were maintained well.

Very courteous staffs, well equipped rooms, very small property but was an advantage in managing my toddlers cons you pay around 5k for the room but due to some power issues in my 2 day stay the ac, tv, geyser, washroom lights nothing worked! and post rain it was leaking next to my bed and near the wardrobes. I would suggest this place only during summers in rainy season its best to avoid.

The stay was good and couple friendly. There is no issues. All good. However this was wooden building so we can gear noise in ground floor if any stayed in top floor
