Mesmerising himalayan landscape

The is a small hotel with all the basic facilities. The good things: - view of the himalayas - nicely decorated play area - buddhism themed hotel - clean rooms and bathrooms - good service - wifi available with good speed - food had limited menu, but good the not so good - steep stairs - food rates were on the higher side compared to other places in ranikhet highly recommended if you need a quiet place to relax while enjoying the view of the mountains

Property is pretty beautiful and cozy. Food is good. You will find good variety. Location is bit isolated from city center so having a car at your disposal is must. Properly manager sanjay is very helpful and accommodating.

Gem of a property! best location in majkhali.

Yak & yeti is by far one of the best places i’ve ever stayed at. The property is located right on a mountain top which has a panoramic view of the panchachauli range of the himalayas. The rooms are big, clean and comes with all the necessities. The food is to die for, no matter what cuisine you order and the homemade cheese cake is to die for. The property is made beautifully with serene and quiet nooks and corners and it has a very calming and positive vibe. Special shout-out to the two most hospitable hosts, sanjay and devangshu who made sure our stay was super comfortable. Staff omi, dhaami and the chef naveen were super great. We stayed here for a week and felt right at home since day 1. It’s one of the best experience i’ve had, specially with remotely located properties. A hundred percent must stay if in ranikhet or majkhali. Absolute divine!

Good place. Excellent manager. Good food but charging too much. My room was changed to gf due to physical disability and i had to pay extra 1000 for that.

Stay at echo r yak and yati inn in ranikhet is great pleasure. Thou it is approx. 10 km away towards almirah main road but it gives a real piece feeling with tasty food.

Magical

This place is a treasure. Barring the noisy neighbours on the property, which obviously the hotel can't do much about, this was a wonderfully refreshing and rejuvenating stay. The decor was authentic, and of high quality. The photos were very evocative of the environs. Like the mountains came inside. The soft singing bowl music in the background ( a stellar choice) along with the view from the dining hall made eating a meditative experience. The staff were attentive and helpful without being fawning. They clearly feel a belonging to the area, which helped us feel at home. The little touches we requested were met without fuss and really added to to the experience. I would suggest toning down the "exotic elements" of the menu, incorporating more local flavours and ingredients.

Location is in a quaint village next to ranikhet and is a quiet local, with few people. Met great people, mostly families. Host was accommodating and provided guidance on nearby places.

प्रकृति की गोद में स्थित । बालकनी से हिमालय की शृंखलाएँ देखी जा सकती हैं। शहर की भाग-दौड़ से दूर शांति के दो पल बिताने के लिये उपयुक्त । कमरे साफ़-सुथरे और आरामदेह हैं। खाना अच्छा मिलता है। रेस्तराँ का वातावरण आपको अच्छा लगेगा। कर्मियों का व्यवहार मित्रवत् है। व्यवस्थापक हेमंत गोस्वामी जी आपकी सुविधा का व्यक्तिगत ध्यान रखते हैं। एक निवेदन है। ऐसी जगह आएँ तो पर्यावरण का ध्यान रखें। प्लास्टिक का ढेर सारा कचरा छोड़ कर न जाएँ। यहाँ शुद्ध पेयजल मिलता है। हर बार प्लास्टिक की नयी बोतल न खोलें।🙏🏾
