Rinsangkhangsar Homestay

If you want to stay at a serene location, this property is for you. It's bit away from busy streets of darjeeling but all your needs including pickup, food etc are fulfilled by the owner. Make sure to hire vehicles through the property as drivers are likely to dishonor commitments if they get a better deal ( which happened with us, but owner was prompt enough to arrange other vehicles even at the peak season) food served is delicious especially pane-er recipes. Pricing is also reasonable. If you a re a nature lover, request owner to allot mountain facing room. You get to see nice landscape in the morning hour. Don't forget to visit alubari monastery nearby which is constructed in world war 1 time. Currently monastery restoration work is underway. Chowrasta is 18 min walk from the property (gentleman's word) if you can't walk, owner can arrange pickup for you @ rs 150 (peak season rate) we had 4 senior citizens in our group. 2 of them stayed 1 story downward. (you have to descend to approach the rooms) and rest of us on lower story. Overall a pleasant and satisfying experience.

It was a very nice stay in this homestay. This was my second visit here. I visited last november also and stayed there for 3 nights. I never seen a nice person like the house owner aunty. She arranged a car for receiving us. She gave complementary tea and sancks when we reached there. They are really very humble and nice person. They are ready to cook the food you want to eat and they cost is also reasonable. I always feel like home staying there. I would request at-least stay one time there you will understand why i am saying this. This homestay is 15 mins walking distance from chowrasta. I want to say thanks to aunt y for providing us such a good stay there.

This was our first experience at a homestay and we were absolutely thrilled to stay here. The owners were friendly and accomodating. The food was homely and the distance from the mall is walkable. If one wants to enjoy an early morning stroll or a late night after dinner walk from the mall, the starry night on the way to the homestay will remain unforgettable. On a clear day, one can even see the tiger hill from the terrace of the house and can save quite a few bucks and the anxiety of waking up early in the morning. Overall, we would always suggest this place and would love to stay here again. Thank you!

The host were very friendly. Came to receive us and guided us to the stay. Very reasonably priced. The rooms and toilets were clean. Water be in the main issue in the hills was not a problem. The stay was very pleasant. Highly recommended for a budget friendly stay. Only drawback was a little difficulty in finding the place if you have your own vehicle.

The overall experience was good thanks to the warm hosting. The food, hygiene and almost every service was up to the mark. Most importantly, the hosts were very humble and helpful, they ensured that every need is being addressed. I would happily recommend this place and will also get back there if i get the chance to do so.

The location is awesome but the route was a bit confusing and difficult to reach. The place was very clean and safe, caretaker was supportive and they were provided all the facilities. The room was good and there was a beautiful Valley view from the room. I had food which was also good. I can surely recommend this place.

If you are a person who doesn’t like crowd, this place is for you! the hosts are amazing, the food they prepare are delicious and simple. The place might be difficult to find at first, but it’s a nice and calm place with locality around. The main market is around 10 minutes walk. Overall, i found this homestay amazing!

Stay at homestay was pleasant. Owners were very helpful- with the directions, taxi arrangements, airport pick ups, food. Food was homely and delicious. Just keep in mind, property is almost 1km away from mall road but rest of the things for homestay compensate for it. Would love to visit again! )

The property is easily accessible via gmaps unlike others clean n hygiene rooms overall best n supportive owner n service just a call away round the clock

Value for money though the lica

I travel-led solo and chose this homestay to stay. Though the homestay was a bit far from ch-auk bazar, i think it was the best decision for me as the host was welcoming and humble. They also provided me a reliable cab driver. It was a nice stay.

1 km away from chaurasia, mall bajaar, taxi facility is available till 6 PM after that you have to ask for it to the house owner, she will manage taxi, area is isolated , but peace and safe all the facility provided is rated maximum. Thank you.

Just an awesome place in Darjeeling & better than Hotels which are overpriced. Doma mam takes care like mother, very supportive, guides you well & her Daal & Fried rice is the best. Room is nice with awesome view. Never go for Hotels when you are in Darjeeling.

Much better than any other Rinsangkhangsar Homestays, excellent cleanliness, nice food, good persons, good hospitality, only thing is narrow Road and and remote area, apart from this point every thing is nice

The location of the property is serene and scenic, food provided by the host is delicious and homely. Hygiene is properly maintained. The hosts are very welcoming and cooperative. Experienced great hospitality. Looking forward to visit again.
