River Valley Resort Rishikesh

I stayed at River Valley Resort, Rishikesh for one nights during a weekend getaway, and overall it was a peaceful and refreshing experience. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by lush hills and right next to the river, it feels like a true escape from the chaos of city life.

The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and very comfortable

Location was very good and staff was very polite and food quality is good.

Our stay at River Valley Resort was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The resort is beautifully nestled amidst lush greenery and offers stunning river views that make you feel instantly relaxed.

Worst Staff, rude staff We informed staff that we will reach late, no one bothered to get up and help. We were stuck on the dark road for 45 min with an elderly person. When we asked about this the owner said I was waiting but your car delayed so I slept. what should I do ? When we said that we were she was being very rude with us. If you are late , no food , no staff to help. so irresponsible and carefree attitude. room has spiders on bed, All out refill was empty, toilet seat was broken, bed sheets were dirty and room has smell and this is after we booked cottages with them. i called them 5-6 times from two different number she only picked once and no support after that.

Facilities not upto the mark. Cooler wasn't functional. Frequent power cuts. Cleanliness was good. Pool facility is great.

Firstly in makemytrip they have hosted their tents have ac and are premium tents. We booked the same based on the same facts. But when we arrived we saw the tents were not at all premium and it had cooler but not AC. The first tent where they checked us in was very claustrophobic and the cooler was not working. When we asked them why did they mention that the tents have ac in MMT they didn't care and said if we want to have a C then we can opt for the cottages. The tent was so uncomfortable that we had to go for ac cottages paying extra charges of Rs. 3500 over our booked amount. During first day dinner buffet they served stale paneer. The ac of the cottage was also not working seldomly. Whenever we were coming back after sight seeing in the afternoon we saw the AC was not working. We had to follow up regularly to get the AC on. No body turned up for cleaning the room. The sanctity of the place was marred by the loud music played by the hotel authority in the lawn. It was very disturbing. One of the only positive in this property is it's location. Its indeed good and some of the service boys were only prompt in response. We tried to get in touch with MMT during g the stay but coulnot reach MMT because of mobile tower issues. They took extra charges from us for shifting from non-ac tents (mentioned as AC in MMT) to AC cottages

The property is located at a v peaceful place just in the middle of nature.food was bit spicy side so kids may feel uncomfortable. Staff was v polite and helpful. Rooms were clean n hygiene was maintained. All n all we had a very good experience there with our family.

Neat & clean accommodation, peaceful surroundings, Close to River, good food. Value for money. Need to Improve parking place.

Property is fine, location is fine. But basic amenities are not available, no basic hygiene, no electric kettle, beds are not safe for kids, broken, gate locks, no dental kit, no shaving kit, dinner is fine but breakfast is good. After 10 or later, simply denied to serve tea. Even in morning also. Tea availability is during breakfast only. Swimming pool water was also dirty. Not recommended at this price option.

Property location is amazing between mountain and just river side delicious food with this location is heaven suggested to stay once

The resort is on the riverside at a secluded place, away from hustle and bustle of the city. The environment is serene and gives you inner peace. The rooms were simple and ok. The food was good and the hospitality was great.

Enjoyed almost everything. Will definitely visit again. Excellent hotel in all aspects.
