River Valley Resorts

Away from crowd and peaceful atmosphere is what River Valley Resorts offers. We stayed here one night on 18th October 2018 on the way to Ooty / Coonoor. To our surprise we were given spacious rooms with 2 double beds each. The rooms, toilets were clean, had heaters in them and toiletries were provided. Room service was available and the food was served to the room on time. Next day morning buffet breakfast was provided that had idly, Dosa, Vada, Upma, Chutney and tea served. Food was tasty. This resort is at the foot Hills of Ooty (29kms away) and has a water stream (not ariver) flowing through it.
Probably it was due to the rain, the front yard had muddy patches. There were cows coming in from the adjacent property which were making the place dirty all around. The service, food, hospitality and room cleanliness were very good. Overall a decent stay for this price.

River valley location is very good. As we came masinagudi for jungle sufari, this property is situated inside the jungle with natural scenery. If you have own vehicle it would be better. Room size is good. We travel-led 3 people with one 10months old baby. We booked 2double bed in a room. Bathroom was cleaned and we'll maintained. Gijar was there. Restaurant was inside the property. Breakfast was very tasty with many varieties. Food cost is ok ok, as interior area. Near by restaurant & bar also there. We went with our 10months old baby, staffs are very cooperative for preparing food for my baby, also they suggested about visiting places near by. Other facilities like room freshner, naphthalene balls inside the bathroom, handwash liquid, hot water kettle, internet or wifi all are missing.

Property is in good location. Property is fenced & no wild life seen in nearby vicinity. We come to this kind of places expecting wild life sightings. It was disappointing. Also service of River Valley Resorts is very poor. The person at reception gives you feeling you are most unwanted person there. Bath towel they have given can't be even used as floor mat. It's so dirty. We were 3 adults & they gave only 2 towels. Reluctant to give 3rd towel. All staffs are arrogant. I do not prefer to visit again & i cancel-led my next booking.

Staying at Treetop in River valley resort has to be experienced at least once in lifetime as its thrilling and fantastic. Hotel management was responsible and made us feel safe though we were in forest, though we stayed in treetop cottage, the toilet was neat and well maintained and room had TV working dish connection, special thanks to Mr.Rizwan and team for addressing to our needs and for being accessible anytime to cater our requests, eager to go there with my full family next year.

The river view cottage was located in such a prime location. Had a wonderful stay with my family. Food was good and so was the hospitality. Could improve a lot in the neatness and hygiene of rooms as they were old buildings.
The rooms were pretty old. It had really nice view and was surrounded by good amount of forest like vegetation. Since it's in hill station the bed and blanket had mild pungent smell. The spare blanket inside cupboard were smelling a lot though.

This was my first experience in staying in a tree house in mid of a reserve forest. The location was in center well accessible to Bandipur, Ooty, meyer dam, Mudumalai. The tree house was well maintained and clean. We even got uninvited neighbours knocking our doors and jumping on the rooftops monkeys, enjoyed the company with them. The scenic view was great with River aside and mountain view in a landscape location.

All the above 3 were great. Full marks to the River Valley Resorts arrangements.
Receptionist responded very good and in a polite manner. The service boys were too good and calm character. Food is good and quantity also fine and food was very tasty and hot. We have been looked after greatly. Overall it was a fine experience and stay was superb. Will be planning for a second trip soon with friends and relatives.

The stay was like a home stay. Lots of parking and well maintained space. Provisions for camp fire, children play area, river access were few good things about this resort. Food was good. Can provide tent options music in public area if not restricted as it is inside the forest.
Rooms were comfortable and the food was great. Special thanks for the cook.

The River Valley Resorts people was too good to take care of our need so I recommend this place.
It is really good place to stay and it is well maintained.

Infrastructure is good, but maintenance is poor. Cleanliness is not up to the mark. Food is nice. Service is also good. Staff are courteous
