Roinam Retreat

Situated at a place close to umiyam lake, roinam retreat is an abode amid-st nature comprising of 4 cottages, 2 family cottages and 3 tents. My stay with family in 3 cottages have been nice. The rooms are quite spacious for 2 persons and neat, and a cosy spacious balcony in each gives nice view of nature. However, the cottages are not recommended for persons who have problems to climb high rise stairs as one has to literally climb up a slope (like walking up a bridge/flyover) to reach the cottages. Though not a very long slope but still may be a problem for aged persons. The host bishnu bhaiya has been a one man army always striving to offer his best to make stay of the guests comfortable. Very well mannered with vibes of an extended family. Points to improve: - 1) buffet spread was very brief with bread butter, jam, banana, boiled egg, puri, sabji, poha, tea and coffee. This needs to be improved in a way including few more items. 2) food quality is fine with scope of improvement in chinese cuisine. Overall have had a nice and comfortable stay.

The place is absolutely peaceful, and even the tent house feels calm and serene. It has all the necessary amenities, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to relax in nature and enjoy some quiet time. The only issue we faced was that their power backup wasn’t working at the time (it was under repair, and there was a power cut due to heavy rain. Because of this, we had to take a cold shower and manage charging our phones between power cuts.

We had a peaceful, calm and quiet time at the resort . Just what we wanted. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Yet I have a few suggestions- 1. The swimming pool was nice but few colourful lights in the pool can make it more fun in the evening. 2. Inclusion of more indigenous ethnic food can satisfy the taste buds of guests more. Excellent stay. Nice location. Food prices are on higher side. Stayed in the tent accommodation, which was well balanced with modern facilities and rustic features. Overall, a nice stay. Road is good. Vehicle can reach upto the resort.

We booked a tent and it was worth spending money. The staff was good, the property was great and the food was excellent. My kids also enjoyed every moment there.

Money can't buy you happiness but a stay in roinam retreat does! completely satisfied with everything. Ideal to stay for friends, family and couples.

Good location, and one can feel the natural environmental atmosphere. The best place to stay away from pollute cosmopolitan busy city life. Fresh air with plenty of greenery.
