Adamo The Village

I recently stayed at Adamo Village Resort in Matheran, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by lush greenery that instantly relaxes you. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the traditional yet elegant décor adds a special charm to the stay. Delicious food

Its not a review for me This is the place of my childhood going since years This place always stays in my hearts I can never think only bad about this place even if there's any issue I'm biased

My overall experience at Adamo The Village was mixed. The location of the property is very good, and the overall outlook and surroundings give a nice vibe. The food quality was quite good, and the swimming pool also looked spacious and well-maintained, although I couldn’t enjoy it due to bad weather during my stay. However, the biggest disappointment was the room — it was very poor in condition, below average in size, and felt a bit damp and smelly. Considering the property’s appearance and location, I expected much better room quality.

The location was excellent. Food and services were very good. Regarding amenities, the rooms had mirrors and cupboards only inside the washroom that was inconvenient. The swimming pool was excellent. They provided us with swimming costumes. Overall the stay was good.

Property was good as seen in photos. Staff was friendly and service was good. Food was amazing. Rooms were clean and proper. No issue. Go for this property for a great stay experience in Matheran.

The Adamo village property is near to matheran station, market place. Very nice property with lot of greenery. Rooms are clean and spacious atmosphere is family friendly. They serve variety of food staff is courteous.

The geyser is not working , basic hospitality is not provided. if I want anything then I need to go to reception because telephone/mobile not working. I want to go to reception and take basic items.

I found the place on MMT itself. the mention were just average food was good but if we wanted another meal like Lunch and Dinner both then it was 650 per person which is too much and the bed was pathetic we could not sleep at all.

Nice stay, clean rooms and serene atmosphere in the resort. Staff is attentive and location is really close to the tourist places.

the staff was nice at the restaurant but the telephone didn’t work due to weather so contacting the reception was a bit of trouble else room service was really good

one of my worst expirience light was not proper tv was not working whole village was under without lights dogs problem ac remote not workable handwash also not there napkin also not there bad height was too low

Firstly, the woman at the reception was quite rude. The rules also felt unnecessarily strict — while the no-smoking policy in rooms is understandable for safety reasons, not allowing guests to bring or order food from outside is unreasonable, especially considering the poor quality of food at their in-house restaurant. The food lacked any taste; I couldn’t eat it and ended up leaving most of it. I didn’t try the buffet, so I can’t comment on that. The garden area was disappointing too, with broken swings and slides. On a positive note, the rest of the staff was helpful. When I found the food inedible, one of the staff members personally replaced it and delivered it to me, which was appreciated. Overall, it was an average stay.
