Aqualillies Water Front Heritage Homestay

The place is a homestay but certainly not a resort. it's a traditional family house with a good potential but it needs some work. It's located in a very quiet rural area, 2 km away from shops, restaurants etc. Skaria did his best to make us comfortable but the bed was very hard, there was no food nor internet. Breakfast is served but very poor. Good if you're looking for a quiet simple place for a retreat. walking around was very pleasant and not too far from the backwaters and Kumarakom bird sanctuary.

Average property. A bit difficult to locate. Property has water frontage and is at an isolated location.

I stayed at Aqualillies Water Front Heritage Homestay with my friends. It was a very good stay. The ambiance of the property is nice families can stay here. Food was available and it was good.

Excellent location and ambience and no more words to describes. Calm and so peaceful

Location is good. However there was no one to serve even water. Though the owner was there however he did little to make the stay comfortable. The food was okay.
We are a family of three. The bed was too small even for 2 persons, when asked for an extra bed only mattress was given. There were lizards inside the room.

Kumarakom is beautiful place. And the hotel where I stayed is located at good place. A river type may be its called backwaters is pleasant to see. Also the owner was very nice. The hospitality and behavior was nice and polite. The food also was very good and homely. We had stayed there for 31st night. Even though the second room given was not so good but I had good sleep. Overall I felt it as home. And also to be mentioned the aqualillies home stay has a history. Its good to hear that. So I will recommend people to stay there.

It has very good and friendly atmosphere. I loved it very much I will recommend it to my friends and would like to spend my vacation there next year also. It had been a wonderful experience with my friends. We had a great time. Its a calm and peaceful place. Thank you so much for this wonderful place.

Its been a wonderful holiday at Kumarakom, especially our stay at aqua lillie. It was worth staying there special thanks to Mr Andrews the owner who have been very generous kind and welcoming. Just outside the home stay there a lake scenic beauty, the rooms were good. Excellent hospitality. One drawback was lot of creepy insects during night time making weird sounds. But of course every home nearby the lake would experience data on daily basis. I would definitely recommend this home stay as its full on money worth. You get to have your food nearby lake. The best part is Mr Andrews also allowed us to use the kitchen. So if you want your food to be your way you are always welcome. All the sight seeing places and hotels aren't too far. So overall I must say very good.

All the staff are helpful to put our things and help to put out camp fire there, they also join with us and it was a wonderful evening. This is one of the best new year ever.

I visited aqualillies on 24 April 2016. It was a nice experience as the owner was very helpful and nice person. The approach was a little bit annoying but had a advantage of being at village center, so enjoyed the true Kirala life style. I recommend this but one should know it is a home stay not a hotel.

All the staff are help to put our things and help to put out camp fire there they also join with us and it was a wonderful evening This is one of the best new year ever.
