Aru Eco Resort | Camps & Caretaker

We were travelling from Srinagar to pahalgam on 25th June 2018 and we booked aru eco on 26th night but somehow we had to cancel our 25th night booking of chandanwari. Owner Jagjit singh allowed us and preponed our plan for 25th night that is very kind of him in last moment. We reached aru eco resort by evening 6pm and it was breathtaking moment, so good view, so clean system of tents, back side river flowing, literally we were amazed with our decision. We stayed for a night, having pakoda chai, kahwa, maggi, aloo parantha and dinner includes chicken and gulab jamun etc having conversations with manager he is totally time pass , u start topic and he will start entertaining you with his expression, gestures and all. It was so damn cold and black night between of valley with river, then we start gazing stars, moon and talking about life and all. It was so awesome. Then we slept around 11:30pm with continuously flowing lidder river. Sleeping was too, cold but managed by electric blanket. The staff must work on bed sheets cleanliness and washroom which would be a deciding factor for toursits to come in future. Rest is brilliant. We start our morning in middle of valley, greenery gardens with horses, sunrays and chai. Then we had aloo parantha and butter that was awesome. Worth going .please stay at least one night.
We stayed for one night, it was awesome in terms of staff, food, place, valley view, camp fire, bonfire, damn cold and in night star gazing, moon was awesome, I owned my personal telescope I wish I could take it. Food was awesome veg and non veg both, they need to improve bed sheets and flooring. Need improvement in washroom, toilet seat rest things are awesome. Cannot match with normal Aru Eco Resort | Camps & Caretakers. If you are visiting pahalgam kindly stay at least a night in this rather than in Aru Eco Resort | Camps & Caretaker to take experience of middle of valley with river flowing continuously.

Do not expect a Hifi camp if you are going to this resort. If you are going with a group of people then you may be able to enjoy more. It rained heavily so, unfortunately we had to go somewhere else. We were the only couple there so it wasn't a good experience security wise. Other than that it was good. The camp is placed right in the lap of nature and you can trek further to beautiful Meadows.
The camp was at a beautiful location however, it wasn't good from safety point of view. Going there with a group of people will be good. Don't opt for a couple stay in off season.
