The Athens Hotel is located just adjacent to backwaters starting near a road called Boat Jetty. The Athens Hotel inside Komla Athens Hotel complex ground and very calm and peaceful. Bus station is walkable. Hotel Arya is very nearby and has very good vegetarian food. Hotel Athens staff is very polite, and friendly. They even allowed us to keep the luggage with after the checkout as our train was in night. They also suggested few places to visit around. Overall very good budget Athens Hotel with good location.

I stayed there just for the night as I reached from Munnar at 11:00 pm there was enough space available to park my car. Although many deficiencies were there but the smile of the hostess and the courtesy of the staff made up for all the shortage. The hostess gifted us a Hindi bible thereby completing the trilogy of Gita, Ramayana and Bible on our trip.

I am happy with the Athens Hotel management and rooms. Main thing here every auto wala knows the Athens Hotel If ur new and missed the root u can easily reach the Athens Hotel. Nice Athens Hotel....😌

The outer look of the room was awesome. But inside it needs some changes. For example bedsheets, not mosquito repellent must be given compulsorily. Then the food was good around Athens Hotel.
