Aziz Palace Group of Houseboats

The fact that this houseboat is gorgeous with all the intricate cedarwood carvings, perfectly adorned interiors coupled with an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas doesn't even begin to describe why I'm in love with this place. As soon as we reached the dock, we were greeted by an entourage of staff and were seated in the houseboat Front Area with a nice hot cup of Kahwa and assorted cookies. The owner personally greeted us and as we spoke about our trip,we instantly knew we were going to enjoy every bit of our experience in the houseboat. The owner spoke to us for a good hour about his travels and experiences about the world and personally made sure we were taken care of with a scrumptious Kashmiri dinner. The chef also delivered on our dessert request. The staff were so polite and welcoming and took care of our every need no matter what. There's something to say about the hospitality & extreme kindness of the Kashmiri people and this place definitively deserves an award for the best hospitality ever. I definitely recommend this place, not just for the experience of staying in a luxurious and well maintained houseboat, but for everything in between. I promise your heart will be full with love for the people of Kashmir and you'll want to come back for more because of how well the owner and the staff take care of you at the Aziz Palace Group of Houseboats 🚢⛵!

I had the most amazing stay on dal lake at houseboat aziz palace! it was the rest i needed before i headed out on my trek to the himalayas! the staff were so accommodating and eager to help out with whatever i needed. There were zero issues regarding safety in kashmir (it's not fair that this place has such a bad wrap- i felt safer here than in some other parts of india considered "safe. I hope more people come and explore this wonderful place- come and stay at this houseboat, you will not be disappointed. It can be relaxed or a party, they cater to what you want and you will have an authentic experience. Oh ps. The food on this boat cannot be beaten- the cook knows his stuff (veg and non veg)

Overall houseboat was very good. Well maintained. Staff was polite, cooperative and well behaving. Breakfast and Dinner was very good. Breakfast - Fruits (Watermelon), poha, boiled eggs, Dalia, corn flakes, chocos, aloo poori Or chole bhature, milk and tea separate, etc. Dinner - Veg soup, roti, paneer sabji, chowmein/dal/bhindi sabji, chicken (spicy 🌶), halwa Or kheer, etc. Service was very good, rooms are big enough, washrooms were clean, overall houseboat is clean & maintained. Rooms have TV, large Window, hot water kettle, tea coffee milk pouches, enough switch points, dressing table, almirah, table chair, fan mirrors, slippers,towels, etc. We enjoyed our stay there.. Recommended.

The food is literally mouthwatering, every morsel is yumm delicious. I can go on and on.

This houseboat aziz palace was perfect for us. It is in a quiet place and the hospitality of the manager was very good. They have a nice shikara(boat) ride service that will bring guests in and out of the houseboat whenever requested. The food was very good quality and the cook and the caretaker were very caring to us. The transportation arrangement provided by the manager ubaid was very reliable and reasonably priced. We would recommend this houseboat for a nice and peaceful stay in kashmir.

We stayed here for 4 days and had a great experience here. Overall neat ambiance and great food. Service and hospitality is the main highlight of this Houseboat. From the room boy to the manager all were extremely polite and ready to help anytime. Special mention to Muneeb and the team, who made sure that we had a great meal each time they served. In future I would like to come and stay here again.

My recent stay at Safeena Houseboat on Dal Lake was an extraordinary experience that I will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an enchanting ambiance that only a houseboat on Dal Lake can offer.

Excellent stay and beautiful spacious rooms will all amenities provided. Very courteous staff and were helpful with every request we asked for. Muneeb was very good and courteous with his entire team of staff definitely recommend for a comfortable stay.

Had a very pleasant stay at the houseboat. The houseboat is very well decorated and lit up, beds are very comfortable in every room two separate beds are provided so it becomes very convenient with the kids

Very nice houseboat. Good located rooms are spacious and comfortable. Check in and check out was smooth. Staff was very supportive and sorted out all our temporary challenges during the stay. Will surely come again
