Blue Bay Beach Resort

Location wise very near to Chennai and on the way to Mahabalipuram. Pvt Beach is awesome. We stayed in wooden cottage and the stay was good. Not very spacious but it's OK. People were good but not very professionally maintained ambiance. If you want to have a feel at home ambience then it's fine. Families too can have a happy time as they have a good pool, play areas like table tennis, carom, shuttle court and a good Beach front. They even gave us a pvt hall with just an hourly rent, where I saw teams having meetings and party. Only OK thing was the restaurant and the shortage of professional team to serve and with very average cutleries. But then for the money we paid for stay and very low cost of food is definitely a value for money as many star Blue Bay Beach Resorts are on those line and it's cost is triple of what they charge. So it's a budget friendly good resort.

Location was 10km towards Chennai on east Coast highway. Room size was ok but interior is not properly done, the toilet is not good, flush does not work properly. Maintenance is not up to the mark. Sea view is excellent from the restaurant area. We got a very good sin rise and moon rise view on a full moon day. Excellent view Worth watching. Behavior of staff's was excellent especially Mr. John, Suresh, Mohan. Overall good stay. Advised to enhance room decor and surrounding to attract more visitors.

I like the service and food but when it come to cleanliness its average, as it's a resort must have proper floor mat to help the room to be clean and dinner buffet was not upto expectation too no much varieties for food. Hot drinks like coffee tea and milk quality have to improve as we are in country who drink this often so quantity have to improve and charges also can be moderate rather bit costly. On the whole I love the stay and had a good time but missed the wow factor expecting in future.

We found the property in mmt. It is located outside the city and hence you get to enjoy beach without too many people around. During my stay, i could hardly find 10 people across visible shoreline. Swimming pool adds to the fun at this resort. Food was good and you can order based on the variety of options available. Only downside i felt was humidity in the room and especially bathroom after bathing. Hotel should work on providing good ventilation/exhaust options in the bathroom.

I was bit worried with all the negative reviews here before i reached the property. To my amazement, the property was very good, the amenities were more than enough for a nights stay. The cottage was very clean with separate ac in bedroom and living room. The private beach and swimming pool were also good enough. The swimming pool was being cleaned regularly. Parking was also adequate. Only area which needed improvement was break fast i think as the spread was very limited.

It's located 16 Kms from the Mamallapuram city, so getting cabs is delayed and beware of local taxi operators like fastrack, they just left you stuck in the middle and charge for full. The staff are simple and polite, ready to serve you all the time and don't check in odd hours as there is no support staff except few security boys. The food served is simple but little monotonous in the packaged breakfast.

Great location. Beautiful beaches. Great room service but very poor maintenance and management. We were kept waiting in the lobby for a long time before we got a room. Food wasn’t good.
Well. They did take a long time to give us the room. Which wasn’t really nice. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes to check-in because we were a couple. Even though I had clarified with the manager earlier.

The property is located right at beach. The morning sunrise is an experience to be gotten. The water is clean. Decent swimming pool. The dining area also located right near the beach. Ideal getaway for everyone. The staff is courteous. 2 women were celebrating the birthday of one, and the staff requested us to join and our group joined them leaving them soo happy.

We completely enjoyed the beach view of sunrise and night view. Wonderful experience

Beach area is nice place here to spend more time with family. Room is average, but can stay. We visited in dc 2020, swimming pool is closed due to covid situation. That's the only disappointment in our trip. Food is good.

Location is so good. Two major issues are: 1. No proper maintenance of buildings. 2. No battery car service in the inside of the property. We are to walk for long distance for food

I like the separate individual wooden room, a very memorable stay. Can add more decor on the way to the beach and the pool.

The best part of resort is beach view dining. It was so pleasant to have food over there. Kids play area is not maintained well, looks like old property. Apart from that we have many indoor games to play. Good stay for family and friends

Amazing place to spend time with sunrise. A great living experience. Wonderful place for friends, family, destination wedding.
