I stayed at Central Shangrila Resort and Spa for three nights. Comfortable rooms, cleanliness are plus points. Location of the Resort is good. It is away from crowd of m G Road but still very much within the reach easily. Resort has both Road Side rooms and mountain view rooms. If you want mountain Side view then ask specifically so while making booking. It is very close to institute of Tibetology and Deorali taxi stand. One can easily get taxis just out Side the Resort. Staff is very co-operative. Loved the place. I certainly recommend others to try this Resort.

Location is awesome. It 5 mins taxi distance to mg Marg, opposite of Chorten monastery. 2 minute walking distance is the Gangtok Roap way. After we checked out, we went for shopping, when we came back we asked for a room to clean up. Manager/in charge, Mr. Nirmal is awesome and very cooperative and he provided us the room. Thanks

I was amazed to see the unobstructed view of mountains from the room. Rooms were modern and well kept. Continental and Indian food was well arranged in breakfast I loved the walk to the monastery, which was opposite the Road. The taxi charge only Rs. 10 for the walk to the monastery.

Room service needs to be improved.
Good decent place to live in. Room service not up to the mark. Only problem faced was that Central Shangrila Resort & Spa was little far away from mg road but cabs were also available nearby pick drop point.
