Chariot Beach Resort

The rooms were comfortable but not new looking. Renovation was going on, so i think it will be great after. The swimming pool was nice and big, the beach was very near which is a plus point. We can visit the beach at any time. Food was delicious with many options although repetitions were there on consecutive days. So many indoor and outdoor activities. Child friendly, but the children's play area is rusty. All need to be renovated and repaired. The golf course was maintained excellently. Overall gorgeous property and accessible to tourist destinations within walking distance. Lovely and supportive staff all having pleasant and cordial behaviour. Will love to visit again.

It was a very good experience staying at this resort. The location and ambience is very serene. There is a private beach which is clean and good. Room service was also good. Food was awesome, but dont go for buffet, either plan your food with the room plan or else go for chosen food. The prices of the room and food is quite high. The ambience of the resort is great. They have a play room for kids too having table tennis, carrom, chess etc apart from a billiards table. Weekend stay would be rush, if possible weekdays stay is great. The sightseeing places are located very near to the resort.

We were a grp of 7 ladies booked din chariot fr a night stay. Booked two cottages. Rooms were spacious and neat with beautiful linens. Food ws ok can improve in that. Specially chinese cuisine was not at al good. Swimming pool maintenance can bo improved it was filled with quiet lot of flies and mud. But the property is very big. We had total privacy. On the whole we ladies had a very good time. It ws very safe. Beach access was very good clean. How can i forgot the beautiful morning sunrise. Would recommend anyone who stays with chariot not to miss the sunrise.

One of the best resorts i have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of the resort is close to all tourist spots and our room was absolutely perfect. The private beach was very clean with clear water, a very good place to relax. The only issue is that i felt the food price is expensive if we don't opt for a package or buffet we have to pay for what they ask for as we don't get good restaurants nearby.

This was a good place to spend leisure times and enjoyable time with family and friends in mahabalipuram. Amazing beach view and swimming pool is included. The swimming pool is so huge and can accommodate lot of people if you are planning with group of friends. This beach was private and crowd was less. The spot is near to shore temple, so travel-ling to different places was apt from the resort location. Food could have been slight better. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. Bathrooms could have been much better when compared with the rooms.

The stay was good and comfortable. The room was clean and the sea view from our room was amazing. This resort had the lengthiest swimming pool i had seen and it was maintained well. The resort was connected to the beach with private access. The food at the restaurant was good but it was expensive. The only drawback was the service which i found was not up to the mark. I had to make multiple calls to the housekeeping and even the on duty manager to get things sorted. Overall our stay was good and pleasant in chariot.

We had a family vacation in chariot beach resort mahabalipuram. Starting from a welcome with sea shell garland, the entire stay had been a great experience. The staff excels in service. The dining experience is excellent with chef karthik preparing special lobster, crab and pomfret fish fry and well attended by sumit kund & team. Buggy services from Chariot Beach Resort to beach on call. Sea viewing spa gives a soothing experience. Would love to go to this resort more often.

The resort is just behind the famous five radha's. Nice ambience, beautiful lush green grass everywhere especially at golf play ground. The swimming pool is at its best and beach access is with a nice walkway and perfectly private. Rooms are spacious and clean. Sit out space at a sea facing villa with glass covered air conditioning arrangement makes you relaxed. Breakfast is excellent but the dinner price needs to be reconsidered by the resort.

Good place for a family stay. Food quality and accommodation was very neat and clean. Happy to visit again in the future.

The stay was too good and the 31st night event was very well organised. The dancers were amazing and the events for children and adults were thoughtful. The gala dinner were lip smacking and tastebuds were enlightened. Memories of 2023 night in chariot resort will always be cherished. Thank you for making our night.

Chariot beach resort offered by makemytrip was a great option, and family fully enjoyed it. Great price with discount for advance booking. The family room was big. The facilities of access to the beach and pool by the side of the room was plus. The vast golf area with trees pathway was thoroughly enjoyed by family

Ambience is good facilities are good, but spa not available but they put it is there in website, rooms are not that much good for the price

They have a beautiful property. Courteous staff and good food. The private beach is well maintained and you can spend the night chatting with family and friends

Tv was very small for the room and kids zone was not maintained properly. Employees are very good and good food too.

Overall it was good experience. The room especially the cottage where we stayed are very spacious and the property is humongous with with lot of activities. Food was also good. Coming to cons the property is very poorly maintained from broken tiles and faucets noisy air conditioning you will see flaws with each and every thing in the resort. Evening looks at-least couple of decades old.

Our stay at chariot beach resort was very comfortable and the process was smooth. Food was quite costly comparatively. It has a large swimming pool and beach access which is a plus. Located near to five rathas but a bit outside the town so it is a really a very ideal and calm place.

Resort is located very near to beach and the scenic view is excellent. Surrounding area of rooms are beautiful. Rooms are also good and very spacious. Food can be improved. Overall experience was very good.

I spent one night and one day in chariot beach resort, mahabalipuram with my family on 8th september 2023. Resort is really pretty big with a lot of greenery, open space and a private beach. Property is well maintained. Room is spacious with all modern amenities. Food is awesome. Staffs are really good and professional. Special thanks to admin person mr. Sumit kund for lot of help with personal touch. Resort is very worth visiting.

The rooms were nice and clean. I have visited this resort already, so based on that went again. Services and morning breakfast were awesome.
