DEUTA'S COTTAGE

I am very unsatisfied with the rate MMT has charged me for an ZOPDA PATTI room. Rack rate at the hotel was Rs. 2000, and I was charged by MMT Rs. 4410. He said if directly contacted I would have got it at Rs. 1500 also. I demand an refund of Rs. 2910 or at least an refunf of Rs. 2410\-. Nothing available in the hotel no kitchen. Not even basic facilities available. Dirty towel, insects all over the place. Cannot expect anything from them. As it was just an basic hotel may be low budget people come here. But Staff was very helpful to arrange my dinner, jeep safari twice, elephant safari once, also arranged my transportation to Guwahati, did not overcharge a single rupee. Thrilling experience at Kaziranga. Except the overpricing by MMT. At between 2500 and 3500 they were amazing hotels with all facilities and B\F. Very disappointing. Being an old customer I was charged and fooled. I want an refund at any cost.

Rooms are big, clean but no food or snacks available. Its value for money cottage. But have good links to arrange elephant safari without you going anywhere and stand in lines. Carry some food before you check-in. Hot water is available only for few hours.

Was just OK for a one night stay. Room was spacious and clean with one double coat and a single coat. There were no other occupancy over this cottage during that time and that may be the reason for closed kitchen. The main aim was to visit Kaziranga and this is just OK for a one night stay.

No intercom, no AC, no toilet paper. Very little flow of water from wash basin hence cannot wash hands properly. Good ventilation in room, hence mosquitoes, lizards roam freely. Bed and cushions not suitable considering the price one paid. One has to step out from room and approach in person to attendant for your any need. Do Not know about food as we have not seen any sign of it there. Lot of vehicles parked outside the rooms. This is what experienced during stay. MMT need to do more homework.

Place is 1. 1 km away from the main entrance of Kaziranga national park with no good local conveyance. So, if arriving late, keep this in mind. Service was awesome. Staff helped in booking elephant safari in no extra price.

Nice calm.. Went alone.. Staff behaviour was really good.. Booked the elephant safari also.. Room was quite big and its enough for 3 people. Bathroom was clean.. But little old fashioned..

Stay is okay. Not so great. Make my trip, why do I need to write 200 words about the stay. Do you mean to say 2-3 words are not enough ?? Still in not done with 200 words. Why the hell do you do this ??

Location is far from entrance. Foo ding is not problematic. Bathroom facilities to improve. Room was spacious. Staff was cooperative. Environment of the cottage was nice. Near by cocking facility if available will be helpful.

Rooms are good. There was voltage problem - not sure whether it was the problem of the hotel or the problem of Kaziranga itself. Food service is available on request although a little bit costly. Staff behaviour was good.
