Great Windows Resorts

Great Windows is the perfect name to this resort. It indeed has Great Windows which leads to the great view of tea plantation and a widely stretched mountain ranges. No parking problem, just that the roads which leads to resort are quite narrow. Great ambience. Finely furnished, hygienic rooms. Well maintained restrooms. When it comes to food, it's amazing. Breakfast comes as complimentary, which comprises 3 varieties with several Side dishes. Lunch, evening snacks and dinner will be served on our ordered menu. The chefs out there are awesome. Sufficient, delicious food will be served. It was truly a great experience, it was indeed a great stay.

Quite a decent place if you plan to stay for 2 to 3 days. The people and staff are quite courteous and helpful. The food breakfast, lunch and dinner is good too. The mobile internet keeps shifting between 2 and 3 and 4G, however the staff did provide us a portable WiFi hotspot. The only concern was that there was no fan and ac in the room. Since the place is cool, it wasn't really needed. However, the staff should probably be able to arrange a fan for you, if needed. Also, on the last day of our stay, there was water beginning to leak from the ceiling. While it didn't cause us much inconvenience, it could aggravate unless repaired.

We are an old couple I am 72 years old and my wife is 70 years old. We spent 5 days in Ooty and Coonoor in 3 different places. But only place we liked was Great Windows Resort. They really have great windows. One entire side of the room is glass window. From there we can see only endless tea gardens in waves of hills. As we watch brigades of mist cover the entire scenery. Then after a few minutes the mist moves away. Furniture in the room was of excellent quality. Staff were friendly and co-operative. They cooked food as per the order and was of good quality. If you really unwind this is the place!

Excellent service quality and hospitality from the owners as well as the manager’s end in providing us with luxury and comfort at a staycation. Lakshman sir (manager) was always at our disposal and always helped us whenever we required him with dedicated passion and diligence. No compromise on food quality and room service systems and all services were guaranteed within 30 mins with satisfactory experience. Definitely worth the price oaid and would love to visit again❤️

A perfect place to stay where you will feel like home. All the facilities as mentioned in their description are perfectly provided. Breathtaking view is the major advantage. Staffs and caretakers are absolutely friendly. Receptionist Raabiya is very polite and helpful. Awesome home prepared food at very nominal price. Gayathri akka's cooking deserves 5 stars. On the whole it is a very lively and comfortable place to stay. Worth your money and absolutely no regrets.

Excellent location not very far from the town. Nice view from the room. A playground nearby offers good entertainment for kids. Nature walk down the valley in the morning gave good relaxation and relieved us of stress. Spotted some bison fat away. Great food served at the resorts and friendly, hospitable staff made us feel good.

Great place to stay with beautiful ambiance. Very helpful staff expect a few who have to be trained. They had thrown a surprise new year celebration which was nice. Overall a decent place to stay.

1. We are couple along with our little champ and we had an awesome feel. 2. The front office and ground staffs are polite and well behaved. 3. Home made hygienic food. Taste is mouth watering. 4. Fortunately, the resort got two wheeler and you may hire it 5. I would happily suggest you to have an awesome experience. Happy holidays!

Very good ambiance Neat room

We booked the family suite with a beautiful view from the sit out at the back. The rooms along with the bathrooms were clean n tidy. Food was Great and Worth the money spent. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and they are always there for immediate assistance

Rooms are good. Location is really nice. Just next to tea estate. Nice home made food. You cannot expect lot of options for food. View from all 3 rooms are really nice.

The great window stay was very nice and memorable, the staff behave was very polite, anything you ask for it and you will get a quick response from them. We stayed in couple suit which gives you very good valley view. Only thing I noticed that wifi was not in room, but it was available by the reception. Homely food was available which is not bad at all.

Location is beautiful. Total value for money. Homely and tasty food. Would like to stay here if we make a visit again. Good going guys.
