Excellent hotel for family. Nature lovers will like it most. In calm and cool area. Facilities are also good. Staff is very friendly and food quality was also good. Far from hunder but near to monetary.

Hotel Grand Nubra offers a promising setting amidst the beauty of Nubra Valley, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations due to operational gaps that are hard to overlook. Despite opting for a Family Suite, the room lacked basic essentials — most notably, an electric kettle, which is considered a minimum standard across comparable accommodations. The staff, though well-meaning, were evidently new and untrained, often appearing unsure about even routine service requests. A more serious concern was around breakfast service. Despite informing the team in advance about our early departure to Pangong Tso and requesting timely breakfast, there were avoidable delays. This oversight resulted in a cascading effect — we were caught in a major traffic jam en route, turning what should have been an exciting journey into a tiring and demotivating experience, especially for young children. At its core, Grand Nubra needs urgent attention on two fronts: Basic facility readiness to match the price point and expectations, and Training staff to operate with foresight, empathy, and efficiency, particularly when guests are traveling in high-altitude, time-sensitive conditions. The natural beauty surrounding the hotel offers a wonderful canvas. With better management, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest-centric service, Hotel Grand Nubra has the potential to truly stand out. Until then, travelers should set their expectations accordingly.

Overall fine experience. Staff is good. Service is good. Location is average. Seems little bit over priced according to the amenities and services.

It was a comfortable and pleasant stay at grand nubra. The hotel has all the amenities, the staff was very courteous and welcoming, and the food was delicious with fresh preparations and custom requirements taken care of. Our stay had to be curtailed by a day due to rains in leh and the owner was kind to refund the amount. Highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again in future.

The hotel was a little outside disk-it town. It was not easy to navigate to this place through google maps. The rooms were decent, but the lights were flickering and not steady. The staff blamed it on the electricity supply. Hot water was not available in the night and even in the morning, we had to wait for about an hour to get it sorted. Food was just about ok. Breakfast was buffet, but options were limited.

Everything was good & perfect in this remote place. Except i don't liked zero quality of wifi. It was only available in reception that too with very limited speed. Even 1 small whatsapp msg sending took 3-5 mins. Otherwise all other facilities were good

Good hotel less aminities due to remote location but staff is very cooperative and humble. Fresh and very tasty food with limited choice. Overall a good choice and value for money

This hotel is at diskit, with a 360 degree of the mountains around it. We had a great view of the snow covered peaks and the disk-it monastery and the maityee buddha from the room. The room was good and the hotel staff was very helpful. The amenities at that rate considering the remote location of disk-it was very adequate and noteworthy. It is a bit outside the main disk-it hotel locations but that adds to the charm!

Booking was confirmed and money debited but on reaching the hotel no room was available. No refund was given and a room was given in a new hotel. Very poor booking service.

Its a perfect place to stay in terms of location next to the highway, unhindered views of surrounding mountains on all sides. The food variety too amazes you.

The room was spacious and clean, washroom was neat. The hotel staff was courteous and the food was good too. You can see Diskit monastery from the window of your room. Hunder is 7 km away and driving from the hotel to Hunder is a good option. Because if you want to stay in a hotel and not in a camp, then this is a good place to stay. All the hotel staff is very helpful and they let you use the phone without any additional charges because except bsnl there is no other network which works there.
